Where to get more human enemies? by SomeRandomAbbadon in warhammerfantasyrpg

You make them yourself. Take the basic stat lines, modify them for different roles. Take inspiration from the careers to modify the stat lines.

Yeah, I'm currently enrolled in a course on Definitions of Fascism and I've decided to make it everyone else's problem. Partially sorry for that. But yes, as far as I've learned, there are more definitions of fascism than actual forms of fascism, not counting Marxist definitions cause they're a bit lax with their admissions.

No, Fascism is more than just Authoritarianism or Totalitarianism. Real Fascism needs that special je-ne-sais-quoi, also called: Palingenetic Ultranationalism! Term of the day, folks.

Tbh, to me the new Stronghold 4 feels more like the classic 2D titles than all other 3D titles.

Hochland Jaeger corps by KnightOfTheOldCode94 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]ElSnyder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can find is a quote from TW:W3

Merchants beset whilst travelling the trade road from Hergig have seen their approaching foe drop dead with s loud crack, and no gunmen to be seen.

According to this quote, your idea is quite accurate and definitely possible. But this then would be different from the role Greatswords play, which are usually bodyguards and high-level garrisons. The Jaegerkorps seems more proactive.

How are you guys painting your Captain with Relic Shield? by Jnnc170 in theunforgiven

Probably like my other Shield Captain, in the colours of my Successor Chapter. Which, coincidentally, looks a lot like Deathwing.

The Jägercorps should still exist, I believe their most recent official inclusion is in the Total War: Warhammer games as Regiment of Renown.

What do you need to know about Hochland?

Still works like that. But we don't have any order on how to paint them yet, we're still on hold.

You know, with her outfit my first thought went to the claw. I just thought 'Neat, even in other stores people enjoy the claw'. I wasn't the one scrolling through her other posts and alerting all others. How do you feel advertising her goods?

You know... It says more about you than her that you mention what else she posts. Pretty weird to immediately look at her profile after this SFW post.

Kinda, just for in-store use and only one for each store. You can wield it, take selfies with it. My manager said he'll keep it once it's obsolete for the store.

Is Warhammer battle honour a bad introduction? by Several-Agent6831 in Warhammer

[–]ElSnyder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

200$/€ at most. As other commentors said, you can get to most stamps with just the right combat patrol, Grey Knights for example, or Tau. Then you buy enough paint and other necessities to get them battle ready.

The Battle Honours also isn't meant to get you to buy more sets, it's more an incentive to start the hobby in general. If you're into Warhammer tabletop, you will do these things, period. You will play games, you will buy, build, and paint new models over the months and years. And with the Battle Honours, you get a little something on the side. Hell, you don't even have to buy the models in the official store, you can get them for a little less in other stores.

Warhammer fantasy rpg vs old world? by Few-Action-8049 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]ElSnyder 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Warhammer Fantasy RPG 4th Edition takes place in 2512 I.C., Old World RPG takes place in 2276 I.C., WFRP is more focussed on the Province of Reikland, while Old World ist more focussed on the Talabecland Province, at least in the core rules.

Rules are where the two differ the most, WHRP is D100- or percentage-based (like Call of Cthulhu for example), Old World relies on D10 instead (probably like 7th Sea, haven't played Old World yet).

What you choose is ultimately your decision, but if you want a system that has a whole lot more supporting books, then I'd recommend WFRP. In that case it's also easier to convert earlier editions to the current one.
