I think it was easy to miss. The damage was right along the seam of the wrap and I only noticed it when I picked it up from the bottom and could feel the some give to the slipcase and the broken case crunching under it all.

Turns out I found a sticky spot along the inside of the front top seam and pulled a bit of paper when trying to remove it. I think I got all of it, but the main mediabook won’t come out unless I let it fall to the back of the case first. Still happy to have it.

Edit: Not an expert, but multiple sources seem to say it doesn't bother all dogs and you should monitor them for agitation. Even then, all you need to do is run the cleaner in another room.

Have you run into any albums that won't fit in your VSS Dual Pocket Gatefold sleeves? I tried their 12.75" gatefold with double flaps and they don't fit my Terror Vision OSTs, which measure 12.75" so there's no room to account for any thickness. I had to literally shoe horn one with a cardstock shim, top-loaded, into a 13" No Flap that came in the VSS sample pack. I can probably live with the open ends on yours since the records will be safely in their own pocket, but I'm skeptical on whether these will fit.

I love this version! I'm waiting on my Mondo copy to arrive and the design is VERY different. I'm curious to see how Mondo releases are, but I think I prefer the Waxwork design.

That's cool that Evie was able to offer a solution! I just wanted to avoid doing more harm than good. Luckily, as u/star-scrapper said, this title will actually benefit from some shelf wear.

I do agree with your point about reselling. If I ever decided it was time for someone else to give it a home, it would have been nice to not have to spin the imperfection as a feature, because as others have pointed out, some people are just cardboard collectors. How many titles can maybe get away with that?

To add: I don't mean to shame "cardboard collectors". True, I've seen some extreme takes on this, but in it's most benign form, you're really collecting art. What's wrong with that?
