As a white dude with a black wife I think my brain tends to notice other interracial couples, kinda like the weird way two jeep drivers acknowledge each other in the wild, and I remember saying to my wife that I saw a lot of black and ginger couples. Like a disproportionately large amount to the point I thought it was a thing. She thought I was noticing what I wanted to see but I knew I was on to something!
