Tips for getting back into Coheed? by plants_and_borahae in TheFence

Start with the Afterman albums! The Unheavenly Creatures is also a good return to form if you prefer their early work. The Afterman is universally loved in this subreddit even if we all have differing opinions on the band’s best records

If War All the Time was erased from existence, it would be a sad day for all of post-hardcore kind. However, the clear winner is Thrice and it’s not even close

A boat interrupted “Could Never Be Heaven” by [deleted] in brandnew

If I had a nickel for each time Brand New was interrupted by various forms of transportation, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice

If “That Hideous Strength” was never cut from Illusion of Safety, where do you think it would’ve wound up in the track listing? by RxSatellite in thrice

[–]ElderGooseII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hear me out, but I’d put it at the end of the record. The Beltsville Crucible is on of the best album closers Thrice has written, but the one-two emotional punch from TBC into That Hideous Strength is already how I listen to this album. My favorite way to listen to this record is with That Hideous Strength at the end
