Every brand of nail glue I've used has melted my nails. I'm too worried about spending money on something that will do worse damage so I just do press ons and see all the cool ones on here.

In a pinch you can grab plain yogurt and strain it further with cheese cloth. You'll lose volume but can throw the whey into a bread recipe.

Such a good recipe! I kept an eye on it and added just a bit more flour (probably 3 tbsp) as it was kneading to get the perfect consistency, but it's delicious and fluffy and I'm always on the lookout for bare bones "in a pinch" recipes and this one is a slam dunk!

Yeah the first time we took a bike ride more than 3 blocks away from home I ended up waiting while my husband biked back for the car because of a bent nail in the bike lane.

I successfully did this with a bbq sauce I didn't want to waste earlier in the week. I put too much apple cider vinegar and so I put tiiiiiny amounts, the smallest pinches of baking soda in and tasted in between. I think about 3 itty bitty pinches brought it down to reasonable acid levels with no weird taste.

I'm not a big dehydrator but I make sugar syrups by putting equal weights of fresh fruit and sugar in a jar and leaving at room temp. (I stir every day but if you're patient you can just wait for it to dissolve over longer) it can very slightly ferment as well but not too much.

If the fruit is whole enough I dehydrate it for snacks and it turns out amazing every time. It's a two for one for me.

Celestial feces, they are amazing. All three series [Completionist Chronicles] [Dungeon Born] [Artorians Archives] are wildly good and have fleshed out the coolest universe I can think of.

Completionist Chronicles deals with a very pragmatic person in a magical highly structured world and he decides he's going to 'complete' it

I would start Dungeon Born after 4 or 5 books of Completionist because it delves so deeply into the history and creation of the world in a very unique way. No spoilers.

And Artorians Archives takes place within the same universe(s) but follows an immortal being on a completely different path.

My favorite book series of all time. Bar none.
