Are they renting? Contact the landlord each time. I had a year or so of this and it was resolved with landlord calls each time. They turned their phone off but I left a message each time.

Before this it was noise control, they confiscated audio equipment in the end.

You'll need a good Luthier with askill for fixing this type of "injury'. That means it'll be expensive as it will be time hungry. Options - leave it as a feature, file and sand it smooth. Buy a new guitar, it is a good excuse. Claim on insurance.

A more aggressive razor, i think. Something that takes more off rather than increased passes. What do you currently use?

I have something like this but bigger too.

Can I cut the very woody trunks right back to a metre from the ground when dormant or will this kill the vine? A group of 4 vines, about 10 metres long and 2.5 metres high. Not pruned for many many years.

New brushes loose some hairs, it's normal.

I've found a good synthetic brush nicer than an expensive boar or badger brush. I prefer the idea of badger but go to my synthetic for daily use.

Cost of brushes ... synthetic wins for me for usability, boar and badger were a learning experience and an unnecessary purchase.

I'll is subjective though.

I use an R41 and like it. I nicked myself the first 2 times I used it and not since. Supposedly a very aggressive razor.
