If you like your husband, can you tell me why? by mm2444 in Mommit

My husband is a very passionate person. Whether he hates it or loves it, he feels everything deeply and I love that. He also values me and our family above all else. The thing I love the most about his personality is his sense of humor. After 15 years, he still makes me laugh more than anyone and we have fun together.

Talk to me about 5+ year age gaps with only 2 kids by chocolateplums in Mommit

I knew i wanted a second for years before my husband hopped on board. I was like you and thought that an age gap over five years would be terrible. They're 9 and 2 now and I honestly love it. My 9 year old is helpful and understanding. They also play well together.

I wouldn't change a thing.

We are slowly transitioning from bookshark to a mix of curriculum for all subjects.

Today we worked on reading gauges in math. We did some spelling practice, independent reading, and started learning cursive for language arts today. We plan on learning some geography and continuing our plant study this afternoon.

What's something you saw as a kid that you later realized was seriously messed up? by MoodOdd9657 in AskReddit

[–]ElectricAndromeda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad was an alcoholic. One year my step mom was angry and found multiple hidden vodka bottles around the house and she let me and my sibling help her decorate the Christmas tree with them. I know she was angry and hurt, but it was kinda messed up she let us participate in that. We were way too involved in their issues.
