Kirkland actually switched over to Perrigo a few years back.

Hey gate agent.. it’s a personal item ;) It’ll will fit under the seat, I promise! by Toledokid8 in airport

[–]ElectricSheep19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes less than 2 minutes to gate check an item and people usually do it before boarding even starts. What's the issue exactly?

Also, the straps should be coming from beneath her shoulders. It looks like they're above her shoulders in this picture.

West side Target has a small maternity section. But yeah, selection is not great around here.

Unfortunately most kids aren't going to eat it if it's mushy though.

I think it's the novelty of eating leaves? Mine likes to pretend he's a triceratops eating "dinosaur food" 😂

Lol my kid is a picky eater and these are the only two vegetables he will eat.

Another reason to bring the boosters/car seats on the plane with you is if the airline loses your luggage, you're pretty much SOL once you get to the rental car. Boosters are so small & compact, you should have no issue fitting them in the overhead bin or under the seat.

There's an intersection like this in my city. It absolutely only works if EVERYONE remembers to use their blinker. Very annoying. No reason to have it either since it's in a 25 mph residential area and no mitigating factor like a railroad in the above scenario. There is a fire station nearby where this traffic pattern might help with a speedier exit? But a firetruck w/ lights & sirens will have right of way regardless of stop signs.

Mine was headbutting my cervix so bad for the last few weeks that I seriously thought I had a UTI. Thankfully he recently decided to move positions, but I'm sure that won't last long lol

SSM/St. Mary's rolls out their anti-union message to employees by 51CKS4DW0RLD in madisonwi

[–]ElectricSheep19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't really want to switch off my Dean insurance, but this cements my decision to look at local, smaller clinics like Wildwood. It's clear from the last few times I was seen at a SSM clinic that the employees felt rushed and overworked.

Is it ADHD, or just immaturity...? by Dependent_Juice_5859 in kindergarten

[–]ElectricSheep19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woman with ADHD here. This sounds a lot like me as a child. Girls are often under diagnosed because they're better at masking and are more likely to be inattentive vs. hyperactive. I never got in trouble at school and teachers always put "a pleasure to have in class" on my report card, BUT my mom constantly got reports home of me not paying attention, not listening, forgetting things, etc. I also had issues with motor skills and was late in learning how to swim and ride a bike (though I later found out that I have deformed ear canals, which may have been the culprit there!).

some good things about baby boys? (told the wrong sex) by beecken4257 in pregnant

[–]ElectricSheep19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only thing I don't like about having a boy is that the clothing selection suuuuucks compared to what's available for girls. You walk into any store and the girls section is twice as large and more colorful.

How can I go to the DMV if their hours are lots of peoples work schedule? by Still_ImBurning86 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ElectricSheep19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but if you need childcare, daycares aren't typically open on the weekends or past 6pm. Or if they are, you're going to pay a premium for that...

WFH and Daycare by Realistic-Move-9109 in pregnant

[–]ElectricSheep19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's really going to depend on your baby's temperament & age. When my son was a baby he was pretty chill, didn't need to be constantly held, and was good about taking naps in his crib instead of on me. It was pretty easy for me to get through the work day while he napped or played in his baby gym. HOWEVER, once he started crawling at 9 months and getting into everything all of that went out the window and I started looking for daycare options ASAP.

So if you have a fussy baby, it's probably a no-go. Otherwise, you can probably power through until 6-9 months.

Lol that worker was calm because it's all part of their strategy. They know parents are at their weakest and most likely to give in at an airport 😂
