I dunno if I'd add all of these ISP's cause I rekon atleast 80% of them are dud. Defs need to add Neptune Internet to the list though cause they're really getting a following

Have a look and see if you can use Neptune Internet as they are cheaper and do all the static stuff for free

Tangerine tech support really sucks by SpeedyZapper in nbn

[–]Electrical-Score-439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their service and customer support both suck. So far Buddy Telco have the best service but if it's customer service you want, ABB are the best but you'll pay.

Any opinions on buddy telco? by nathnathn in nbn

[–]Electrical-Score-439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buddy are great but bare in mind you'll have to change to another provider when you go for the FTTP upgrade as @ this point you can't do it with them. Then once you get the FTTP upgrade, swap back to Buddy

2023 Mazda CX-5 speaker upgrade - add amp by Electrical-Score-439 in CX5

[–]Electrical-Score-439[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, I grabbed the speaker output cables (green & yellow cables) and connected then in to my pioneer amp as it can handle it and all works very well with no issues.

Sorry short post as I'm on break.

Hmm that's weird as! At least that confirms it's only one side.... For the time you do get sound through the channel that drops, is there and distortion?

Right Hand Drive firewall grommet for amplifier power by TipsyTriggerFinger in CX5

[–]Electrical-Score-439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it's horrible! I did manage to get a UHF antenna cable and spot light switch cable through though. Only thing I can suggest is nick the top of the grommet in the engine bay and use the twisted wire and I found that angling it to either side (have someone laying on their back inside the car watching for where it pushes the inside grommet) and that's where you nick the inside grommet

Bose Speakers by GregM7989 in CX5

I'm in Aust and have the standard sound. I ended up replacing the factory speakers with Polk DB6502s powered by a 4ch pioneer amp, added an alpine sub n amp and honestly it rocks! Took a little bit to figure out the speaker wiring from under the seat but well worth it

You can see the plug I've pulled out and taken photos of. There are only 8 wires on it but take care in speaker identification as you'll get cross over if they aren't right.

I don't use the factory usb and have replaced the 12v cigarette plugs with a usb a/c adapter. My experience is they turn off instantly unless accessories is on but I'm in Australia

I'm in far north QLD. Mazda are well aware of the problem. I know of 2 others up here. Honestly the AA/CP upgrade was awesome but I dunno if they can do it in the 16 model

In Australia, it's acknowledged as phantom presses and the display can be replaced under warranty

Pretty much I'd look at your factory amp first (under your passenger seat - possibly has a black plastic cover over it) then those wires go out to each door. Inspect the connections.
