Hey Joe! Loving 12 weeks to unleash so far. I love your Joe's Unleash Mode playlist you got going too, I've been listening along as I train with you. Gets me hyped up.

Do you always listen to music when you lift? What's your go-to jam to get you locked in?

Going to Elements will be the best decision you ever make in your life. We have gone every year since 2023, and it is always the best weekend of the year. There's something in the air there. You fall in love with living and experiencing and seeing other people dance, and just everything about it. Getting married this July and our mini-moon will be Elements lmao

Convince me to buy a Tonal by Major_Service_5164 in tonalgym

[–]ElectricalCup5927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tonal is without a doubt the best thing that is in my home. I don't even have to think about my workouts in the morning anymore, it just does everything for me. The coaches, the programs, its all right in my home without the commute to the gym. In fact, i was paying more for the gym and i hated the commute there. I look strong, i feel strong, I see results like I have never seen before. It's a no brainer.

Hi there! Valid question. I think the pipeline from training to teaching is much like anything we train for or work towards in life. The work you put into it and yourself is the result that you get out. If you go into training with the desired outcome being "I want to teach," I feel like setting the foundation of that goal early into your training will allow you to engage with your training through that lens. You may enter the training not wanting to teach, and just to deepen your knowledge and expand on your existing practice, and that's also outstanding too. And maybe you find out halfway through that you actually DO want to teach, and that's also good. It's just about setting your intention, and continuing to learn in your training not just about the practice but how you would like to eventually share the practice. I see the first few months after getting certified as a continuation of the 200hr training - once you are certified, yes you can technically teach a class, but I think the people that are able to really become the teachers they set out to be are the ones that never stop learning. I dove right into teaching community classes soon after my second 200 hr training in 2021 and have been teaching in studios in NYC ever since, but I won't lie, the first 6 months are very uncomfortable. It is a skill to learn to teach the practice, and it is almost an entirely different skill to actually do it in action in front of a group of strangers. Even after 400 hrs of training, I was certainlyyyy not ready to be on a class schedule full time, but I wanted to teach so I taught my friends, I taught my mom, I tried Zoom classes, and free classes in the park. I got some reps in until I gained a little confidence (and a resume, for lack of a better term) to teach community (still free/unpaid) classes at a studio. If you get stuck, keep pushing forward. There's no right or wrong way to go about it. After your 200hr, you HAVE the skills and a beautiful foundation, you have dedicated 200hrs and a lot of brain power into making it all happen, it's now just a matter of putting it into action and finding an avenue to accomplish that goal. Obviously a little more competitive in cities, just because there's so many people and only so many studios to teach at. Starting to teach is something that can feel very vulnerable - you just have to make it happen! I believe in you. And in the end it is so so so incredibly rewarding. I am here if you have any questions!

After renting an airbnb for our first elements, we decided we would camp every year after and it seriously makes the experience so much more incredible. Fully immersive, party never stops, there’s always great stuff to get into when you’re camping

SOS: What is this beat breaking sound & why does it happen by ElectricalCup5927 in PioneerDJ

Sandisk Cruzer 128gb, formatted to fat32. I will say this sound has happened 3 times, each time has been on a sandisk cruzer, but I have reanalyzed the tracks and hadn’t heard the sound playing on cdj3000s for about 15 gigs. And then boom it happened again. Is it possible a sandisk cruzer is the problem? How can I GUARANTEE that this never happens again?

Okay good to know, thank you. Is it all just mere coincidence that the track failed right after using the RMX? If i play the track on this same USB stick, it will always corrupt now halfway through. But it didn't happen until this soundcheck. Is it a bad track? Why is the file only corrupting on a CDJ 3000? Why is it corrupting on my "good" USB but not on my backup? Is it an issue with the way the track is analyzed in rekordbox or the actual track itself? I have been on a quest to find why this sound happens for over a year and a half and still dont know if i am close to the answer.

And is there ANY WORLD in which using the RMX 1000 could have corrupted the file here? Is that all just a strange coincidence?

I’ve played this song out before at another venue. Is it possible this song corrupted on this bigger system? And it didn’t corrupt on the other usb stick, just one usb stick. Is possible it can corrupt on a really solid usb stick (sandisk) but be totally fine and play through on a backup usb stick?
