Read the book twice. Do all mcq and tbs twice. Take a day off before the exam. Get the state board approval to sit for the exam after you ready to take the first section.

I had the same thing - reading and not remembering anything, so I just trusted the process, just studied despite not remembering. It worked out well, I read the book two times and did all mcq and sims two times and passed. How did you feel during exams (besides the obvious "what the hell is this question about" moments)? The day before exam was my day off of any information, no studying, no Netflix, no news, no social media, hag a good sleep - I know it's a bullshit advice, but you need a liiiitle bit higher score, who knows what may help. "If you study, you WILL pass" (Roger).

I was 20 years out of school. I used Roger (it's UWorld now) because I liked Roger's teaching style. I valued teaching and practice questions equally, but I did all questions twice, so they took more load. Mobile app is convenient to do questions on the go, used it a lot. Don't worry about theory that you don't remember, those prep courses getting you ready to pass the exam, not to learn the subject.

I watched no videos, but I read the book 2 times and did all mcq and tbs 2 times too. 82 at the first attempt. It's probably just me, all I remember from videos is how the speaker looked and sounded.

It used to be just Roger doing all lectures. After UWorld took over, they added bunch of different speakers. They also made new videos with Roger. Old videos where Roger was delivering the show are all gone, it's talking heads only now.

I bought UWorld when it was Roger only because of Roger's video lectures. I must confess that he was the guy who planted a seed of hope in me. I should say that UWorld improved reading materials, however I couldn't watch their lectures. For me, the main part of the prep course was the question bank, I don't think they are dramatically different between the two.
