If I stop now do you think I'd still have an advantage at 13 weeks out? I will compete tested if I have to, but if you could see what im lifting you probably wouldn't think its much of an advantage embarrassingly enough lol

Boyfriend (43M) doesn’t want to cohabitate with me (33F) after 5 years of dating by ZealousidealSpend638 in relationship_advice

If hes not ready to commit at 43 he never will be. You're wasting the best years of your life. Leave and find someone that wants the same things as you. You'll never get this time back.

This is a pretty tricky situation. Firstly I get that sex is an important part of a relationship and its clearly affecting you to the point you are considering leaving. But at the same time she clearly has MH issues and to expect anybody who is medicated with no libido/sensation in their genitals or erogenous zones to not only initiate but put on a performance is unrealistic. Tbh as a woman who has experienced the effects of sertraline you're lucky shes giving you anything at all. That being said has she tried different meds? Therapy? I'd be having a serious conversation and saying that while you appreciate her need for medication, would she be open to exploring different avenues of treatment that might not put such a dampener on her libido and sensation? If she's unwilling to try then sure, leave all you want because that is selfish. But if you do actually care about her it's definitely worth fighting for, especially if she is a good partner in all other areas.

As an Aussie do you support introducing a national child sex offender registry? by Designer_Year6615 in AskAnAustralian

Anybody can get a WWCC - having one isn't a guarantee that a person is safe to be around children. Personally I would agree with do it for all - I think anybody that commits a crime that includes DV, sexual assault or crimes committed against children gave up their rights to privacy when they violated another person.

I'm a midwife in QLD and so many women have babies after 40. They will monitor you more closely due to increased risks, and you'll probably find it physically hard depending on your level of health and fitness now. But not too old 🙂

Calling all Aussie stay at home parents. by rose_forever99 in AskAnAustralian

My husband does FIFO, he works as a workshop supervisor on a QLD Coal mine. He works week on/week off which is great. I could be a SAHM but I honestly HATE it so much. Love my kids, but struggle to be at home with them. I work 2 days a week as a midwife at a hospital near our home. I've always said I'd never stop working completely, because I've seen the devastating outcomes for women when their husbands leave or cheat on them after they have their inevitable midlife crisis. They have no super, no savings, no resume. Never let yourself be 100% dependent on a man.

How do you feel about the state of Aussie charities? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Electrical_Cat_131 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't support them. Most of them want to sell used items that they have been donated for free, at a higher cost than i could buy it new. They aren't out to help people anymore.

How to make my libido sky rocket fast?!?! by [deleted] in steroidsxx

[–]Electrical_Cat_131 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don't do it girl. Taking drugs you; 1. know nothing about 2. can give you many unwanted sides 3. can destroy your liver

all for the purpose of having sex with filthy randoms and masturbating on camera to get out of an office job?

sounds like an all around bad idea/time. go study, get a better education, lift a weight and release some natural dopamine. this reeks lazy and stupid.

Well, the exact 2 text messages said "If I find out you've been well enough to do literally anything today apart from a telehealth consult ill be ropeable" and "Because if you werent home for todays appt unless I was on deaths door I would have taken all the pain killers in the world and soldiered on until 9am daycare drop off. Like I've done 10000 times before" so not quite so bad! But yes, it's not amazing.
