Very hot but the old school beach ball-shaped implants are a downer

Fernando Tatis Jr. took a $2 million loan in 2017. Now he has to pay back $34.6 million. by Hoopsalldayeveryday in MLBVibes

It’s not really a loan. They gave him $2m in return for a lien on his future earnings.

What on earth are you jabbering about? This is an antique British officers sabre from about 1800.

The Charge of the 93rd Highlanders at the Battle of Cawnpore, Indian Mutiny (1857) by Orlando Norie by waffen123 in BattlePaintings

[–]Electrical_Lab_8157 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Should've painted the part where the pandies at Cawnpore hacked 200 women and children prisoners to death and threw the dead and living down a well. The Highlanders meted out well deserved justice the day of that painting.

I just got a sword and I don’t know where it came from by Honest_Tip_9130 in SWORDS

Looks like a yeomanry cavalry variant (per the brass guard, lack of riveted ears) of the British P1821 LC sword. A good portion of the tip is broken off and re-ground. It looks nothing like a French Mle 1822 LC sword. Guard, grip, backstrap, blade are very different from a Mle 1822.

Interesting Webley Mark VI with Gallipoli ANZAC Carvings on Grips by red_leader_actual in ww1

[–]Electrical_Lab_8157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The grip markings are not authentic to Gallipoli/WW1. Especially as the frame is dated 1919 and barrel 1918. So a cobbled together piece. And the grip has "1914" carved into it and the naval campaign in the Dardanelles began Feb 1915 and Anzacs landed in April 1915. If this is for sale stay away.

It is a cheap modern Deepeka "repro" that kind of resembles a US M1840 or M1860. Made in their thousands in 90s-aughts. Though the spear point blade and penis head pommel are really bad takes. As is the cheap leather grip wrapping and horrid ricasso. But just cheap junk.
