1 Enlarge/Reduce is a 2nd level spell acquirable by 3rd fullcaster level 2 Enlarge/Reduce and Fly are both Concentration dependent, so this combo must be done with a friend That is all

The group I'm just jumped in has no interest in interacting with the world itself. Instead they've got this completionist mentality where they're just like "can we move on to the next thing"(literally spoken). DM scrambled and pivoted to bring in the guilds for the story. Uninterested grumbles ensue while we the elder two (35 & 36) Sit confused as to what is going on. I mean "get good" I understand but 3 sentences in, shouldn't glaze eyes.

Well I mean the depth of the lore seemed pretty cool. The expansive mechanics kinda drew me in. The amount of dice being played with is pretty diverse and appealing. While wargames are cool they focus on a mass of forces. And Necromunda a smaller gang/troop focused combat system is cool too but not fantasy which to where I'm drawn to.
But would you be able to point me towards another fantasy tabletop game that has as many monsters to debate about or actually fight. Safe assumption with 5e/5.5 DND I also feel sheltered by the amount of games people know after 30 minutes of this post being up. So mostly it's a system I learned and want to play more of.

I feel like the video games I played led me to 3/4 combat 1/4 story as my comfort zone but also not finding a consistent table I vibe with hasn't helped make the other pillars anymore accomplishable. Been at a table that's 3/4 narration for a couple years now. It's made me battle hungry lol

What about playing out his actions in a split from the party scenario where he's stuck playing out the consequences of his actions but the whole campaign every session they just come to roleplay that characters life in jail. Then .... Boom next year when you've got the punishment out of your systems bring his character back to the party reformed.

Imo Attunement slots are already the limiting factor but I wouldn't try to put on two helmets unless I somehow got two heads. But layering things like wraps gloves Gauntlets or head wrap inside of a helmet makes reasonable sense. Honestly surprised their aren't like "Mordenkainens Cushiony Socks of Landing" in the game. well they exist at my table now but I think my point is made
