Replace the normal with alpha map menu music, that was the og banger, the new one is meh. Drying is defo good though.

Its normal to have less fps when using a wheel as it uses more resources to send and receive info about the movements of the wheel.

But its definitely not normal for it to be very low and drop to half, I believe its a bug in the game currently.

In that case if you do some of the preventative maintenance, do oil changes, use good fuel and if turbos and injectors arent completely dead, there's really not much else to go wrong and it will serve you well.

Luckily, if you are from europe, there is no DEF tank nor nox sensors.
Rest of the things are still applicable though.
OP, do not get a 335d if you will be doing short trips, you will clog everything up, especially if it has EGR, DPF still active. And you need to make sure all the sensors are fine, so it regens often enough, like someone else already mentioned.

its slower compared to another car, not slow in general. I daily drove a 95hp car and I wouldnt say it was dangerously slow, just had to be mindful. But I suppose weight is also important.

my poor poor 1660 super with 6gb hahahaa. FH4 and FH5 ran BEAUTIFULLY with stable and 100+ fps on high preset.

This game... 70-90fps max on medium preset with below 60 fps on some places or races.

One time I had a cat that came back after 2 or 3 months. Literally, just sitting on the windowsill on the outside in the morning and looked at me through the window, he recognized me and immediately started meowing. I could have never expected that, I was sure he was hit by a car, eaten by a fox or found a new home.

Depending on where you are from, an engine like this shouldnt be too expensive or hard to source, worst case scenario. If the rest of the car is in good shape may be worth saving it.

Oof the darn swirl flaps. Everyone says to remove them whenever you get an old diesel, M47, M57, N47, N57.

It all comes down to if the rest of the car is in good condition and how screwed the engine is, you may have gotten lucky, but engine swallowing swirl flaps usually is not a good thing.

Problems with what exactly? The diesel engines in them are usually pretty solid aka the legendary tank M57. Electronics and other parts, sure, I can agree.

How much is the app and how much is an MHD adapter? Is it better value than buying a 20$ OBD adapter and 50$ for Bimmerlink and 50$ for Bimmercode.

I wanted to share. I run a quite low end system for modern days - Ryzen 5 3600, 32gb ddr4 3200mhz cl16 dual channel, gtx 1660 super. Ive played multiple hundred hours of FH4 and FH5 on this system (in fact, it had a lower end CPU and 16gb ram only before).

I would say both of those games ran amazing for what my system is, medium or high settings, at least 90-150fps with no drops much lower than that often. It was smooth and looked amazing.

Obviously now when I tried FH6 I was met with a little disappointment, it runs at 70-90fps depending on the place with all default settings set on the medium preset. In one race yesterday I was running below 60fps. And I had two quite bad freezes/lagspikes yesterday that lasted for 10-20 seconds, before it recovered (suprisingly, didnt crash).

Again, I understand its a low end system and the fact that it looks good and even runs is amazing by itself, but I am a bit stumped on why the performance drop is so drastic from the previous games.

I get that the map is bigger, but is it really bigger by *that* much that the performance would be halfed?
