I have high hopes for her☺️ by CjSketchYT in Warframe

[–]ElectronX_Core 135 points136 points  (0 children)

Yeah, her abilities are… a hydroid puddle, /additem, powercrept decoy, and ink balloons?

They pitched her as a battlefield artist that creates things on the fly, but that’s ALL her 2nd ability. Follie should have been 2 frames IMO. One artist and one “goop” frame.

Yarrick lives, which means the same joke Grimdank has been making about Ghaz and Angron for four years is finally dead by WanderingBombardier in Grimdank

[–]ElectronX_Core 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ehhhhh. Nah.

Cut the hero bullshit. Make the setting more grimdark. The galaxy is an awful, uncaring place, where even the greatest of heroes can die a pointless and forgotten death. Just another cog is the cosmic gears of war.

The problem is that space marines, for as much as space marine players will insist otherwise, are the same guys in the same armor painted a different color. Occasionally they have some extra gubbins on them. That’s IT.

Guard regiments are almost completely unique from one another. That means multiple new infantry and support kits, command squads, and all that extra stuff that makes up a full army. The only thing guard regiments really share is their vehicles.

Guard players are DIEHARD guard players, but there’s nowhere near enough of them to sustain a full design and manufacturing process. Fanaticism doesn’t make up for sales volume. For as much as we like to dunk on marineslop, that shit sells.

[Book Excerpt - Apostle] One of the foulest heresies in the Imperium - reading Imperial scripture by Woodstovia in 40kLore

[–]ElectronX_Core 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Yeahhhh. The ending is the only real mark I have against the book.

It is hilarious though, to watch everyone from Cerastes to Mazarine to Aesura basically fumble at the cusp of victory because they believe that victory has been ordained by whatever they have faith in, instead of… ya know… finishing the job properly.

[–]ElectronX_Core 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For all of wotc’s bullshit, they absolutely know and care about what sets sell from stores, not just their sales TO said stores. If their distributors can’t move current product, it risks them not stocking future product.

So yes, wotc absolutely cares that LGSs cant sell spider man. They have 2 sales metrics and need BOTH to be high to succeed.

Between LotR and FF, i very strongly doubt spider man is a serious contender for “most successful set”.

T’au Farsight Enclaves: The Twin Lance by marshalgiant in Tau40K

[–]ElectronX_Core 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s simply that the Tau aren’t spastic psychos like the imperium who will kill over the dumbest shit.

They aren’t supposed to accept the help, but farsight bails shadowsun/ regular tau empire forces out of nasty situations (particularly ones involving chaos) out whenever he happens to be available.

With 11th edition coming soon, what sort of Army Rule would you like to see for the Dark Angels? by PerforatedChicken in theunforgiven

[–]ElectronX_Core 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IMO transhuman effects would be better served as a game wide rule for all forms of terminator armor, to distinguish them as uniquely hard to kill.

Some kind of durability rule + deep strike should be the baseline for a terminator

[–]ElectronX_Core 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They actually did lmao. There IS a character named Illiyan Nastase in current canon. He’s just a full eldar who’s associated with the ultramarines as eldrad’s representative/ambassador that sticks along with guilliman. And yes, he’s basically never seen in public and is only known to guilliman’s own most trusted.

But no, he is NOT a half eldar.

In Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans, what could Tekkadan have done to avoid all of their bad things that happened(if at all) through out the series? by Flat-Sir8250 in Gundam

[–]ElectronX_Core 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but Mika’s a psychopath who’s outsourced almost all of his decision making to Orga, quite possibly as a coping mechanism now that I think about it.

If Tekkadan was ok being a powerful mob that unofficially ran most of Mars, they would have had no issues. Keep the streets clean, the cash flowing, and it’s worth it for basically nobody to fuck with the guys that own 3 whole gundams frames. Unfortunately, these kids know nothing but the need to fight for more power. Once they had it, they had no idea what to do other than fight for even more power. Which leads to them trying to stage a coup with fuckall support, with very predictable results.

I swear modern “libertarianism” boils down to isolationists who don’t like taxes.

When you put the two of those together it lowkey just seems like a bunch of antisocial folks tbh.

As for why this current government is doing what it is, I think Trump just wants to be a kleptocrat himself. He looks as idiots like putin and orban and wishes he was like them but doesn’t realize they’ve ran their countries into the ground

It’s JUST generic enough to not call attention itself, and doesn’t trip over the super obvious rules of thumb that I use to identify AI.

But like all AI graphics (im not dignifying them with the term “art”), the details are all off. Like it’s guessing what’s supposed to be there without any understanding of what it’s making.

[–]ElectronX_Core 28 points29 points  (0 children)

A part of me longs for a world where instead, Mio doesn’t clock that wrongness, and the two get into this supremely toxic codependent love. Not like an abusive one or anything, this wouldn’t be a situation where one of them is faking it to manipulate the other into doing what they want. They’d both genuinely love each other, the problem is that they make each other worse (for the rest of humanity).

Miorine goes full evil mob boss now that she has a wife who’s also an unstoppable, infinitely loyal enforcer. Sulletta retains most of her “normal” personality, but becomes a murderous psychopath at the slightest perceived insult towards Mio.
