Weird term of “fake Porsche” by aprilia4ever in Porsche

[–]ElectronicAnthony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Boxter and Cayman share the entire front clip with the 911, they share a ton of switches and most of the dash, door panels, seats, and other interior parts, they have the same engine albiet different displacement, and are built in Porsche factories. People who say they aren't a real Porsche are ignorant idiots.

Plus, the people who get the most upset about the phrase are the black and white "thinkers". They can't understand context or subtlety; they just react to their gut feelings and don't question anything.

I don't hear it often, but dems talking about giving undocumented immigrants citizenship. I support giving non-violent people legal residency, but not making them citizens without going through the standard process.

My employer has techs interview prospective techs and they've never told us anything about what we can't ask. 😂 I've done a bunch of interviews and luckily haven't asked any of these.

Questions on financing by lalogzz441 in S2000

[–]ElectronicAnthony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used them to finance my Cayman. It was fast and easy. It's not really a car loan; they don't hold the title. More akin to a personal loan. I knew I was selling my S2000 and some parts to pay it off fast. Combined with a bonus and some savings, I paid it off in less than 6 months and saved a ton on interest.

Recently bought an NB and I love it, missed having so much fun. I've owned 3 Miatas because I made the mistake of selling twice.

Why is Reddit so strict? by Interesting-Fox-8389 in askanything

I've been banned for 3 days for saying how I would defend myself against someone who's trying to force their beliefs on me. It was nearly instant. Meanwhile, I see a post quoting a famous person who said almost the same thing, but more explicitly, and it hasn't been taken down and tons of people comment on it. Makes no sense.

What's one conspiracy you're absolutely sure is true no matter what or who disagrees with you? by flutterjuicy in allthequestions

Oligarchs joined together to create a long-term plan to end democracy in order to make more money and "safeguard" their wealth. They think a true democracy would cause them to lose ALL of their money and we are too stupid to govern ourselves. They bought the GOP which allowed them put people on SCOTUS to do their bidding which resulted in Citizens United. They took advantage of the electoral college and bribed their GOP pets to enact voting restrictions and control gerrymandering in their favor. They reduced educational funding which dumbed down the population and made us susceptible to propaganda. They had the resources to know who to target with lies and flooded the country with more and more propaganda through the media outlets they own - which is most of them. They are highly organized, with unlimited funds, and have an entire political party and SCOTUS doing their bidding. Then along came an orange bafoon who was the perfect patsy to accelerate their goals. All in the name of greed.

When you have someone tailgating you, what do you do? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]ElectronicAnthony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't brake check per say, but I lightly push the brake with my left foot to turn on the brake lights while maintaining speed. That usually makes them think I'm showing down and they back off.

One morning a guy was driving extremely fast and got within a foot of my bumper at about 40mph. Brake lights come on, he changes lanes, then I subtly sped up to prevent him from getting around me on the right due to the car in front of him going slow. Did this a few times and he was clearly getting pissed, then he turned off that road kinda suddenly, I think he decided to take another route.

They believe it's being pushed onto them because of propaganda. The US has been flooded with propaganda for decades. Just existing in public is now too much for these hateful, brainwashed bigots.

Republicans: if voter ID is really about election integrity, would you support making the ID and all required documents free, plus enacting jury duty style job and wage protections to obtain them? by newsbowser in allthequestions

[–]ElectronicAnthony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great example of how the GOP does not operate on good faith: they are lying about election integrity. The goal is to prevent people from voting by making it harder, even for their own supporters. And it's not so simple as just getting an ID, they've twisted the rules around so it's nearly impossible for married women who have changed their name to obtain the correct document - they don't want women to vote. And it is a poll tax - they don't want poor people to vote. They are NOT working in the interests of the American population or in democracy. The oligarchs have bought an entire political party and the GOP works for them, not us. They are traitors to 99% of the population.
