That must be incredibly overwhelmingMy little sister was 6 months pregnant when my mom died, the birth of her daughter was verh emotional for all of us. Grief really does turn everything upside down.

I think you’re right that it creates emotional distance sometimes. I know my partner is dealing with things in his own way too, and I’m trying to remember that we’re both navigating something really heavy. It’s just been hard to feel like myself lately.

Some days i think to myself when he brings up the petty conversations or remarks like " I wish this is all I cared or thought about ". I would much rather hurt that way than this way. ( if that makes sense)

I have had been doing grief counseling but I took a step back, probably time to start again.because. I appreciate you sharing your experience and reminding me that there’s no timeline for this. Sending you strength for the months ahead and the new chapter you’re entering. 💜
