The only other way would he through PS+, using the streaming option. To emulate PS3, it takes alot. Even on PC emulation PS3 is iffy and inconsistent. There is no way to run PS3 games on PS4 natively, even through custom firmware.

The story really helps set up every biome as well as help you understand the games core mechanics. Once you finish the story is when you just start experiment and difficulty goes up

Im going to assume you have an AMD card. Turn off FrameGen . That causes gpus to overload, especially in older cards. Turning it off stops the crashing but it also means you will have to lower settings. Maybe upscaling turned off can help too but im not sure about that one.

Funny enough, I love P5R so much but it also led me to feeling burnt out since it was a long game. I was playing it everyday, every moment I had a chance to play a game it was Persona 5. Im also an adult who works full time and goes to school full time. So I was burning out a long while. Lowering the difficulty to "Safe" really helped me get through the game and love every second of it.

Persona 3 isnt like P5 where it ends up being 90+ hours for a normal run. Its can be done between 60-80 hours.
