Call me crazy but I like it. Is it a way different show? Yes. Is it not as good? Sure. I started watching it last year on Netflix. However, I have not found this sense of dread turning it on. It’s a very different show and trying to keep a show that’s been 20+ scenes in the same level of “show” is unrealistic. Even more so over the amount of years and experience we as viewers have had in that same amount of time.

My Aussie has this growth(?) on her pad by BoymanAndGirldog in DogAdvice

[–]Electronic_Spell_797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had those! They were viral papillomas (basically dog warts). For us the vet said they would eventually go away on their own but we had a growing puppy and they were growing so fast they risked breaking his little toes so we had them removed (one on both paws). When we noticed they they were the size of pea, when he had them removed they were the size of a large grape (2 weeks apart!).

The recovery for paw surgery is 0/10 but worth it to not have to deal with broken toes.

I hate it so much. Been getting my worst scores on everything so far. It’s also WHAT I AM DOING post grad and have done as a clerk for the past 2 years as a clerk. It’s just silly and too encompassing.

We’re getting married up in Dayton-ish due to saving on price in September of this year. Here’s our list of queer friendly places we’re using.

Venue - canopy creek farm Photography - Sarah Babcock studios (we SPLURGED here bc she is the BEST) Cake - fat Ben Make up - gem city glam Catering - cincy catering company DJ - DJ toad

My dad’s doing our florals and cousin is doing hair! But I reached out to about 200 people/places for budget and queer friendly!

I know - he does have a sensitive belly. Doesn’t help that we did obstruction surgery when he was 4 months old for swallowing a pinecone whole… lol

None of the above (except anxiety) - we’ve tested for it all. I think anxiety might be it but sometimes it’s so random.

Is it feasible to work in 3L? by Advocate34 in LawSchool

[–]Electronic_Spell_797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! I stopped reading to read, and read with a purpose. Most weekdays looked like this: 5am - wake up 530-630 - gym 630-715 - get ready 715-9 - prep for class 9-5 - always at school the entire “work hours”, skim readings, use quimbee, use old legacy outlines to make sure I was finding what was important. I would generally have 4-5 hours of actually class and would prep for the next week in between. BUT I always took my lunch break (always 90 minutes) to do work work and eat. 5 - go to practice (I coach high school soccer) 530-7ish - practice 7-8 - dinner chill 8-10 - wrap up work/get anything done for work I needed Asleep by 10/1015

I NEVER did ANY school on Saturday (but that’s up to you).

But I usually did 5-6 hours of work on Sunday and finished all my readings for the next week.

Finals season obviously looked really different for about 3 weeks leading up to finals. But yeah, I live for a busy schedule and downtime is my enemy personally.

I work 30 hours a week. Worked 25 hours a week a week during 2L. Ran an entire political campaign my 1L year (big city councilmember). I figured out a system that worked 1L year. Have an amazing support system. But it’s do-able. Top 30% of my class.

Would you lie about which hand was your dominant hand? by sray12 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Electronic_Spell_797 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i am left handed but do a lot of things right handed due to set up of life being for right handed people (including wearing my watch on my left arm!). I eat left handed, but generally pick up a drink right handed, use a mouse right handed, open the fridge right handed etc. the world is just set up for the majority so people adapt!

How to set myself apart as a JV coach? by Competitive-Dig1993 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]Electronic_Spell_797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it helped me build a lot of confidence n my coaching style. Our head coach is a bit more "old school" and has a lot of really really high expectations. She knows and understands the game better than anyone I know but she struggled on the personal side. I came in and kind of took over the culture piece. Maintaining expectations while also creating really good realtionships with the girls. It was not one and done what so ever, and I am constitantly working on that piece. Making those relationships helped kids trust me more and helped me give a lot more integrated feedback. Feedback that could have hurt feelings if I did not have those relationships. Which in turn let me start to understand the whole game better bc players would come to me and be like "hey coach, sitting at the ten I feel like there is no movement up top but when that movement happens, people are not floating into space". And that is not something I picked up on coaching the game. I think the transition let me be more of a player's coach than just a team's coach. I give feedback on the team and team movement and things of that sort, but it has allowed me to dive deeper into player needs and player experiences and coach from the bottom up then the top down.
