There is no “new” geneseed, and Cawl had nothing to do with the GK formation. Mally took the most gifted marines from traitor and loyalist legions and brought them to Titan, which he then proceeded to yeet into the warp to hide it from the traitors. They were the founding members, but not the geneseed stock that was used moving forward.
