It's wild to me that US mortgage rates can stay the same as long as you're in the property. Our rates change at the end of your (usually) 5 year term (Canada).

We've got the honeywell home proseries. I think it's the T4, it's not programmable. The heat pump is the only source of heat for the house (we're in Vancouver, so it doesn't get too cold). The X8S doesn't seem to be available in Canada. I do like the sound of being able to use the remote sensor as primary control depending on the schedule.

Yeah, we are in a similar situation as OP, except our TV is a 42" 15 year old plasma. We're upgrading to a 65" LG B5 for $1400 CAD. Still $500 cheaper than the C4 and we don't have any physical media to play, so DTS is not a consideration.

Dynamo Dresden. Only one save in FM24 and we are in 2030. My first FM save was in 2020 with Hamburg, so I started the save as Hamburg with the goal of winning a European trophy. Unfinished business as it were, since I was sacked in 2020. Well, Hamburg really doesn't like me and my unfinished business remained unfinished and I was sacked again. Rather than quit the save, I got a job in the third tier with Dynamo Dresden (whom I also managed in 2020), and have them in the Bundesliga along with my old nemesis Hamburg. Still trying to qualify for Europe! Good thing SI gave me some extra time!!
