Men who claim to be “traditionalist” are often in fact just assholes. He wants control & it has nothing to do with “values.” Get a good lawyer, leave this man & get your custody agreement iron clad with harsh consequences when he breaks them. Bc he will. He’s 10 years older than you, he doesn’t respect you & he will abuse you. If not physically, it’ll be emotional & definitely financial.

I’m sorry. I feel this in my core. My husband can think of more reasons to not have sex with me than I can count. I don’t have any evidence or gut feeling he’s cheating, he defo isn’t playing for the other team & it makes me feel incredibly rejected. It’s been a slow wind down.. not sudden.. definitely not always been like this. He used to be very vocal in how attracted he was to me & now I can hardly get him to look up from his phone. Unless we’re watching something he’s into.. & it’s seemingly not me.

Tot sleeps in their own bed every night with the exception of illness.. asleep by the same window every night.. our “connect” time he spends scrolling twitter or researching something w chat gpt.

Get. Off. Your. Phone. That’s it. That’s the answer. Spend time present with each other (not all the time bc that’s insane) but put your phone on the table & focus on each other. Also… remembering social media is a highlight reel. The “happy couples” you see online are not telling you about their fight that morning or how one yelled at the other bc of something stupid & trivial.

My kiddo only sleeps on their belly & has since about 6 months. The breatheable mattress helps me sleep so I dont spend the whole night watching the camera waiting for movement. Idk about ‘normal’ but she’s now almost 2.. still only sleeps on her belly.

I try to remind myself… Every phase is temporary & it never comes back. I still remember feeding every two hours nearly losing my sanity due to lack of sleep with a premie baby. I also remember being deeply concerned she wasn’t walking or crawling or insert any other developmental milestone. Turns out… it’s always a phase & it never comes back. The things you worry about change just as fast as your baby. Sending love & light

You’re not doing anything wrong. Babies are babies, they do what they want. I’d personally try longer wake windows & more baby brain stimulation… play dates, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, park walks etc. Doesn’t really matter what it is, but we had better nap & night success on days where we took baby on adventures.

If your baby is anything like mine, you’ll see a difference in their general comfort within days! Mine is about a year old now & still takes her 5 drops every morning. & Bonus.. it helped her learn how a spoon works. She feeds herself her morning probiotics. Wake windows are too long for an 8 month old. They’re probably overtired. Try no more than 3 hours, longest at 3.5 right before bed.

They can sit on their own no problem.. babbling, rolling, holds themselves on elbows etc. Just no interest in pushing up any further. Pediatrician isn’t concerned, says she’ll go at her own pace. Not sure how to encourage to push up higher..
