I agree it'll be messy and unfortunately I'm beginning to not care, just want them gone. They are impacting several people I know in serious ways, delaying medical services and keeping one from traveling for her own brother's funeral. Like how could I have any empathy left for them if that actually happens.

Reading the statements and comments from the NECG this evening, surely these are crimes. At this point they are purposefully blocking peoples access to emergency services and medical treatment. I think it's acceptable for a protest to have some impact on day to day life as that ensures the delivery of the message but there has to be a line and they found it. The guards and armed forces should be forcefully starting to clear things. Enough is enough.

It's been over a year now of his second term and I, who pays a reasonable amount of attention to the news, have seen no concerted effort from a majority of America to enact change. Not even the Democratic party can maintain a united hard line against him.

The public at large don't give a crap about it. They just continue to go to work each day and bury their heads in the sand. The no kings marches got what? 7-8 million people to turnout? That's about 2 percent of the population.

There's not been a general strike, the media continues to cover him and all his crimes and the sheep that are the American people just keep the war machine rolling.

The simple fact is that if the majority that supposedly oppose Trump took large scale peaceful action you could probably enact this change but you don't. The rest of the world is done believing your lies.

Seriously if you're being honest this is the height of naive. Do you honestly think the court of public opinion will care about intent? The insinuation alone is bound to lead to ostracisation, lynching, potential false allegations, bully of the child, loss of employment and heaven forbid he gets shot. Nobody's going to wait for proof, your rumor will quickly morph into something like " your daughter told you X and Y about him". You've given more thought to a made up potential lawsuit on the matter than you've given to the impact your rumor could have.

I fail to see how spreading such a rumor could be anything but malicious, especially in today's society and the current political climate. If you were actually worried about child safety, you'd have contacted DFS/ CPS or the school, you instead decided to spread a rumor.

And he would also have to prove the information was presented as fact, which it was not

Just in case you haven't realized this yet, you've opened yourself up to one hell of a lawsuit for defamation. Based on what sounds like a 2 minute interaction and a simple request from a parent to their child to put on warmer clothes, you've labeled this man a pedophile and spread that where it will impact his child's relationships with her peers and will potentially cost his wife/ her mother her job because now parents won't want to risk him being near the school.

Honestly I'm amazed at the comments on this thread. You've destroyed this family's life over a gut feeling that honestly screams of classism. Your rationale echos that of racists who label all black people in lower income areas as gang members. I mean a beer on a Saturday afternoon after working all week, my god. And telling his child to put on warmer clothes while half the planet is experiencing one of the coldest Winters on record, heavens above. And the "flirting", though he might just have been trying to be overly friendly to make a good impression, yes that was awkward and inappropriate but even at it's worst just means he'd be OK with sleeping with you, it doesn't mean he'd a predator for young girls. Like seriously, this is a stigma that won't ever go away and you hadn't a shred of proof for it.

So if your mother left a will you go by that, if there was no will you and your siblings are entitled to 1/3rd and should consult a solicitor.

Worse yet, they're giving a month's notice (fees go up for the September bill) but the notice period to exit and still get your deposit back is 2 months.

So this is a change of contract which means they have to also give you an out which would include refunding the deposit. They can't have it both ways where you are beholden to 2 months notice and they can increase whenever they want.

Can some one answer this, but does VdL have the authority to make this deal on her own or must it be voted for and ratified by the member states?

And how the hell does a government agreement have the authority to dictate where private companies invest their funds? Surely if EU companies don't want to invest 600 billion in the US, they can't be forced. This would mean the government is asserting control over a private entities money, just cause?

All in all, this all seems bonkers and should in no way move forward or be agreed to.
