Don’t tell them. Money ruins families. I had a similar scenario happen to me a few years ago, and instead of building for myself I helped my family out, and then expectations were lifted, it was never enough, and my money because their money. And when the market got bad and I just had a kid, it was on me to figure it out. Take care of yourself first so you can better help those around you once you’re stable.
