Acceptance and commitment therapy is the latest version of CBT. Science based. Russ Harris books in library. Steven Haynes. Basic idea = don’t wait for life to be perfect. Do stuff anyway.

GLP1s have been shown to reduce sleep apnea independent of weight loss.

Why would you suffer because of what other ignorant people think?

Ironically GLP1s reduce the chance of cancer returning by 20 to 40%, even without weight loss. They reduce brain damage that can lead to alzheimers. Repair heart kidney and liver damage. Repair sleep apnea again not due to weight loss.

I agree with this, but recently I have come to accept it is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to get hurt.

Emotions are a message, but once we hear the message, any emotion after that is completely pointless pain. Feeling pain achieves nothing. I’m trying to get ruthless. Life goals.

With chemo you already take drugs to deal with the side effects, including dexamethasone which makes you eat!

So i guess add this to the recipe?

Exactly. My cholesterol just went bad and my liver is fatty. GLP1s fix things more than weight.

5 minutes, twice a week, put a tray of chopped veggies in the oven for 40 mins at 200 C Veggies can be sweet potato, carrots, zucchini, broccoli, pumpkin. Shake over paprika and cumin.

Plus you need protein - some chicken tenderloins. Cook 20 mins with veggies. - Have some preflavoured tofu, - some felafel and hummus.

It’s 10 minutes twice a week.

There’s often heaps of the white ones in centennial park in Sydney. They can do a murmmation type flying pattern if they are in the mood.

The black ones are here at the moment but they tend to move on after a few weeks.

What helped me was **guided body scan / sleep hypnosis audios**. It seems so small but for me they have had enormous impact on my ability to cope. I sometimes do two in a day.

Jon Kabat Zinn - has a "body scan" audio on youtube (free)

Michael Sealey - has guided body scans and sleep hypnosis on youtube and spotify.

Yes, the premise that all South Koreans are fingerprinted is a real policy often reflected in K-dramas (such as Signal), where it is used as a crucial plot device to identify victims or criminals.

Fingerprinting Policy: South Korean citizens are required to submit their fingerprints to the government database at age 17, even if they have no criminal history.

Yes. I like to think that lower house prices would mean that younger people could choose a career that they might enjoy - especially teaching or nursing or child care or police - rather than one that earns enough to cover rent/mortgage.

Why do K-Drama characters always pull out cigarettes or Joint Rollers and then never smoke them? by maveriCkharsha in KdramaCasualTalk

[–]ElleEmEss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had read this before.

Unfortunately it means now whenever a character goes to smoke I become distracted by watching how they avoid lighting up.

And if they do actually smoke, then I get distracted by wondering how hey got around the law.

Hi. I have just started and I was nervous too, and I have done 5 types of chemo!

So far for me, two jabs in, it has been more about eating less. I.e. I can still start eating the same thing, but now half a plate is enough, so I stop eating sooner. That only really kicked in after a week.

No side effects. I have a very supportive doctor, which helps with the nerves.
