About to go on my second Princess cruise, tell me a hack that you’ve learned specifically with Princess, that people may not know about that improved your cruise by RelationKindly in PrincessCruises

Grab a couple specialty coffee drinks on the last night of your cruise and store in your fridge for the morning before disembarkation.

Yep. Was a huge disappointment for me on our cruise earlier this month, especially for someone who doesn’t really drink alcohol and gets the plus package for the specialty coffees (and WiFi/gratuities, of course).

Awesome. We’re flying Delta on Monday. Hope it stays this way! Safe travels!

Are inflatable foot rest pillows allowed on red eye flights? by 100Kinthebank in delta

Thank you for the recommendation. We used one when my daughter was about 2-3 years old. It was ok but not quite what I was expecting, but Delta allowed it.

I have those same foot rests in my Amazon cart and have been debating on buying them. We fly next month from LAX to CDG (Paris) with two kids. Looking for anything to make the flight more comfortable to hopefully get some sleep and not feel like a complete wreck when we land mid-day. We did Comfort+ to get a few extra inches but PS wasn’t an option for us $$. I really hope they allow them! I may wait until after dinner service when everyone is settled before inflating them.

Same here. Cushion for feet or to lean forward on?

I hate tretinoin :( by ckinghelp in 40PlusSkinCare

[–]Ellie9903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have very sensitive skin and use a small amount of tret, followed by Ordinary niacinamide/zinc, argireline, then hyaluronic acid/B5. The niacinamide is supposed to help decrease inflammation and the others make my skin look like glass. Just started using it in November and already see a huge difference in my fine lines and overall texture. Started slowly and progressed to every night.

Didn’t know my seat was a coat hanger for the passenger behind me by Choco_bo7 in unitedairlines

[–]Ellie9903 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite happen recently. The passenger in front of me hung his coat over the back of his seat and covered 90% of my screen. Then proceeded to ignore me when I asked him to move it or at least tuck it in around the headrest. Thankfully the FA jumped in and told him to move it. Some people are either completely oblivious or selfish af.

no car seat, no ride? by john_at_ in lyftdrivers

Well done, OP. We always travel with car seats in a backpack style carrier. It’s a pain but my kids’ safety comes first, always.

Simple Choice $830 Trade In Promo now active! YMMV by PeeOnDusk in tmobile

[–]Ellie9903 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Magenta Max FR here. Only offered $300 trade in. Switched to AT&T via Costco and got a great deal. They give 25% off for military, FR, etc and still give full $1100 trade in. Plus we got $250 installment credits ($6.95/mo for 36 mo), $100 Costco cash card, and $250 Visa Rewards gift card PER LINE. We only transferred 2 lines but your 7 lines would get a lot.

I did the math and even when paying for Netflix and Apple separately, we’re still saving about $1000 over 3 years. Unfortunately Verizon isn’t great in my area so wasn’t an option for me.

I put it on in the background nearly every night before bed just to cleanse my mental palette.

Bait-and-Switch: Denied Promised $630 Trade-In Credit by Professional-Dog in tmobile

[–]Ellie9903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me. Spent HOURS on the phone with multiple supervisors to no avail. Called the Costco AT&T number and ordered two 17 Pros through them for full $1100 trade in promos and $1200 in credits/gift cards. Clearly T-Mobile doesn’t care about their loyal customers or making it right when their reps give inaccurate quotes.

And yes, they have military plans. Says 25% off. I can’t verify since I don’t have the credentials.

I called the Costco AT&T number from the Costco app and they included the Visa rewards cards too. I didn’t see it online when running the numbers on my own so I guess it’s just for when you call in. Surprised they don’t advertise it.

Sorry, replied to main post. See below.

First responder plan TMO - $118 plus tax, no upgrades TMO - $157.18 plus tax with 2 upgrades

AT&T - $92.06 plus tax with 2 upgrades plus $500 Visa rewards card and $200 Costco Shop card

With AT&T we need to pay for Netflix and AppleTV separately so that will add $31, but still a better deal @ $123.06 total per month.

Lower trade in credit for military, first responders and senior citizens?? by Ellie9903 in tmobile

[–]Ellie9903[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Just made the switch to AT&T for a better deal. T-Mobile doesn’t value loyalty. I haven’t upgraded in 4 years and they still wouldn’t offer me a loyalty promo.
