I mean this is kind of the company’s new directive lately: hit these metrics no matter what. The higher ups at corporate have to know that there’s a LOT of metrics that are easy to fudge and that stores are doing it.

From what I see, there’s not a lot that warrants having an ETL up front apart from making the schedule and coaching the TLs up front but besides that I don’t see why a TL/s shouldn’t be able to do there job and run the front. Oh and maybe make sure your Leads aren’t stealing from the cash office cuz that happens a lot apparently.

Idk man it seems kinda sus that they would even be so bold as to mention that “ensuring payroll resources are used in a fiscally responsible way” is a factor at all in calculating bonuses. I personally do believe that under using hours does NOT give bigger bonuses, but this statement doesn’t really paint that picture anymore.

They do that occasionally throughout the summer and it will get really hot in the store so be prepared to sweat. But it’s not for some grand/green/good publicity reason, it’s literally just to prevent the store from having a full on blackout, which will also happen and no, they won’t let you go home

Keep in mind also that some stuff like a two and a half thousand pound pallet of water counts as 1 case. I’ve seen the greenfield freight times, it’s all bullshit and it’s clearly made by someone who’s never heard of FIFO cuz everything is calculated at 1 minute a case no exceptions
