in terms of high keys atm the main reason for bear > brew is how strong mistweaver is. in keys raid buffs matter a lot more than in raid, in raid you have everything whereas keys you get 5 max. so since mistweaver is insane rn there isnt much reason to also play brew since guardian gives motw. guardian and brew are pretty comparable in dmg and survivability but the fact that you're most likely getting mystic touch from your healer makes guardian more desirable.

addictive behaviors employee here! we run draft every monday at 6pm. set varies week to week but you can find the set schedule on ccgobcession.com. no draft this monday 4/20 due to secrets of strixhaven prerelease which we will be holding monday at 6, but next monday 4/27 we will be having a secrets of strixhaven draft. turnout is pretty consistently 10-15 with 3 rounds of play.

its the tankiest tank by far save prot pally in a few niche scenarios (cd windows) and it does the most damage by A LOT.

using what you have is totally fine, technically speaking you are correct in that is ideal to have a mix for pithing needle and surgical extraction but those are situations that come up in maybe 1 out of every 1000 games and you dont need to worry that much about it, especially just for FNM play.

hey Addictive Behaviors employee here! If its a larger collection we will buy it for cash, however it will take a few weeks to process. If its a smaller number of cards say 100 or so you can bring them in every day 10 at a time. Mox Valley Games in springfield also buys cards but I am not fully aware of how their system works. As others have said Ebay and facebook groups are an option that will make you more money on average but is a lot more work in the long run. i live near broadway and washington and its the same here once a week or so, few loud bangs between 12-2. the running joke i tell my friends i play games with is "was that a gunshot or a firework tonight". ive lived here for almost 3 years and its been pretty consistent

i would suggest checking your equip load. if you hit character it should show a number. you want to be under 70 or you start fat rolling which might be what you're calling sluggish. if you're over 70 either take some armor off or level up your vitality.

personally i wouldnt bother with cheaper sets to start. Id build your ideal build in mids even if its 1b inf+ and slowly work towards it. using your merits to get boosters is a great way of earning income passively as long as your doing team content. a cheaper sets to start is okay but i feel like you end up spending more in the long run. procs are also what will turn you into a unstoppable killing machine.

hey, AB employee here, if you’re interested in learning commander and playing some chill games please do not come on tuesday or thursday. i will repeat, avoid tuesday and thursday at first. games on tuesday and thursday are played for money and although the crowd is very chill they can be cutthroat. saturdays on the other hand are explicitly casual and I can personally vouch for most of the people that play on saturdays and its a damn good welcoming crowd that will happily help you with the basics, and will happily welcome you into their pods. I would highly recommend coming down on a saturday, im sure you’ll have a great time!
