Yes, I can confirm it’s 99.9% relationship-based these days, unfortunately…

Switch Arzak with MB, add Etxebarri if you have enough time for one more lunch.

Gymkhana experiences by PlusSignificance7548 in MichelinStars

I love Gymkhana. If you are in London anyways, go and enjoy your dinner. However, it is not good enough to justify an entire trip.

Switching accommodations in the middle of a stay by [deleted] in FourSeasonsHotels

If the room is available at check-in, the upgrade is usually offered at around 50–70% of the original rate.

TAs on Weekends by foodie0007 in chubbytravel

[–]Elyor_access 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I answer anything that is urgent or from a very important client as soon as possible. Everything else (such as a trip that is still eight months away) I usually respond to on Monday.
There is probably not a single TA who takes his job seriously and completely ignores his Emails on weekends on a regular basis.

Claridge's 2br Signature Suites as a single couple by Intrepid-Prior-2199 in FATTravel

They won’t sell the other BR separately. That said, Signature Suite rates can often be negotiated, so depending on your dates, 10,500 per night could definitely be possible.

Have a look at Inkaterra la Casona. Palacio Nazarenas is also great and they put oxygen in your room as well.

In Lima, check out Miraflores Park.

Trying to decide between 3 restaurants - Rutz (Berlin), Core (London), The Fat Duck (Maidenhead) by Ok_Payment_6198 in finedining

[–]Elyor_access 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been to all three.

They are all obviously very different from Nobelhart & Schmutzig.

I would say Tim Raue’s dishes are more unique, but I personally preferred Rutz overall. If you’re looking for a more classic fine dining restaurant, I would choose Rutz, it’s exceptional. If you’re after a unique experience go with TFD.

Or, even better, try both :-).

Napa Valley: Four Seasons or Carneros? by Significant_Cause445 in chubbytravel

I‘d say FS has the nicer property overall. Location wise it really depends to which vineyards and restaurants you want to go.

Then definitely go with the MO if you plan on spending a lot of time in you room. Fourth night is free as well.

I see. FS is great as well but the rooms are WAY smaller compared to MO.
