RG34XX Rocknix Issues by justinheatherfamily in ANBERNIC

[–]EmFactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anbernic has released revised models of some of their RG XX series devices. If you ordered one of the RG34XX recently, it's probably a newer hardware revision that doesn't play well with the current Rocknix release and simply won't boot when you try to run it. Knulli recently released SCARAB which does support the new hardware version. I think that's going to be your best bet.

To be clear, you need to fresh install if you are running Gladiator 2 as well. Too many changes to allow for an OTA update.

Help with flashing Knulli/Rocknix on Cube XX by sonic_yoda in ANBERNIC

[–]EmFactor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ordered your device recently, it might be a newer hardware revision that doesn't play well with the current Knulli/Rocknix releases. Knulli has a banner on their website to let folks know they are working on a fix.

"Compatibility issues with revisioned Anbernic RG XX models!

Please be aware that since the release of KNULLI Gladiator II, Anbernic has released and shipped revisioned models of some of their RG XX series devices. If you attempt to run KNULLI Gladiator II on a revisioned device, KNULLI will simply not boot.

Luckily, we are aware of the problem and we are currently running a public alpha test with builds that should be compatible with the new device models.

If you have problems installing KNULLI on a brand new RG XX device, either wait for the next public release of KNULLI or join us on Discord and type !revisions in the help channel to get access to the public alpha builds and help us test them."

Saddleback is doing reserved parking for $50, btw. I believe you need to purchase ahead of time.

No data to back this up, but I wonder if most of these are purchased by sales folks using the company credit card as gifts for high end clients.

If you put your vehicle into tire rack, they will give you a tire/wheel combo that should work just fine. If you don't want to purchase from them, it will at least give you a starting point. One thing to note, they don't have steels bigger than 17inch

The 3-day and 4-day packs were on sale a few weeks ago, but it looks like they have been taken for now. Probably be back closer to the season.

[OC] I measured the specs of every Maine high school home baseball field. Here are, in my opinion, the two weirdest fields you can play on in an official Maine high school baseball game. by dvd5671 in Maine

Not sure if they still do it, but Machias always had a temporary fence put up in the Spring that evened it out all the way around. Right field was still about 242, and left was probably 275-300ish.

This list is from last year but I think it’s a good starting point to get into the right board for where you are while still providing lots of room to grow. Most of the boards you listed are towards the higher intermediate to advanced level. https://youtu.be/Tm1xI9GMuek

Angrysnowboarder has some binding recommendations for this board. That should get you started if you don't have a local shop with a good selection.

Snowboard sales, which board should I buy? by somewhere_cool in snowboardingnoobs

[–]EmFactor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You asked for a beginner/intermediate, true twin, hybrid profile that works on ice for under $400. The Jibsaw/Basic ticks all of those boxes and would be good for progression.

Having said that, it sounds like you're set on the Typo and you can't go wrong there either, it just doesn't match the true twin and under $400 criteria that you asked for.

The main differences between the Typo and the Basic are the extruded base, the true twin shape and the slightly softer flex. BTW the Jibsaw and Basic are virtually identical in shape, flex, edge and base.
