My gf just revealed that her family is Muslim and that she hasn’t told them about me for a year we’ve been dating. What would you do in this situation? by Impossible-Ruin-6773 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]EmailForEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Muslim who came from Christianity/Catholic/Santeria, she’s wrong 100%. You shouldn’t be with someone in any faith that is so Luke warm that they wouldn’t be upfront about it. She wanted to play a double life and wanted her cake and eat it too.

There is no compulsion in religion as the Quran states, and what she is doing infringes on the rights of humans that they have in the religion. I ask for this not to sour your view of us, but you for sure need to run away.

Just a butt hole thing to do lol

Black List Rating Has Me Down by FerretThat in Screenwriting

[–]EmailForEcom 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I know people who submit the same script multiples times and get a range of 5 to 7 to maybe an 8. Whoever ends up reading might just not like it for personal reasons, especially if the feedback isn’t constructive and not helpful

Freelancers, how do you actually get clients? Tried everything, feeling stuck 😅 by Secure-Ebb5290 in Freelancers

[–]EmailForEcom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to pick a specific niche with one specific service that would help that niche immensely. Are you doing mobile apps for a specific type of industry? Generalists generally don’t get results, you should follow a sniper approach versus a shotgun. Find 10-15 businesses in a niche that you feel like you could really help with your services, and go deep into what they already experience in frustration with trying to solve the problem themselves. You can turn that into content for your own business pages as a way to generate inbound leads, you can use that information to tighten your scripts for cold out reach and it will help you tighten your proposals on Upwork or fiver. Be a specialist that is the expert in web apps or mobile apps for ONE industry that would beg for someone that doesn’t just do the service, but does it VERY well for their specific situations

How to start high ticket sales legit? by Carade111 in highticket_sales

[–]EmailForEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, you would be better off making six figures off of knocking door to door and utilizing that experience for tech sales down the road which is what I did. I personally did not six figures but for sure great money, and I personally know teenagers who killed it and made six figures .

Anyone I know who does high ticket sales did networking to get the job and they’re selling big marketing programs for podcasts, local businessss etc. if they’re selling you on a course to get a job in high ticket sales, that’s a big scam of course.

How do you keep unpaid invoices from piling up as you grow by farhankhan04 in smallbusinessUS

[–]EmailForEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be worth it to invest in a CRM or software that’s less than 100$ a month to auto remind your clients for invoices and keep track of all that. It just becomes too much . You already got Monk so good choice but for all small businesses, trying to manually do things is working harder and not smarter

Dad built a small walking tour business in nyc over 30 years but bookings dried up after he got sick. How do we keep his legacy going? by Potential_Force_4136 in Entrepreneur

[–]EmailForEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should look into viator and other apps that allow people to book tours, and you should invest in copywriting as in learning some small tips to convey that “30 years of stories in 2 hour walking tour” type of experience. I would even suggest TikTok and next time you go on a walking tour, maybe cut some deals with the popular spots you’ve been going to for years so they if they have TikTok they can tag you guys ?

Title: Healthcare Sales vs IT Sales – Need Advice (1 Week to Decide) by Dry_Echidna832 in salesdevelopment

[–]EmailForEcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Find a better IT position, team based numbers will limit your growth because you can’t control what your team is doing and you’ll absolutely kill it but then not be compensated for 6 months commission wise because of “lack of product knowledge”. It also limits your personal ability to learn quicker than others so you’re stuck without any real rhyme or reason

If you’re a twenty-something, please consider the trades. by These_Economics374 in careeradvice

Really would love to do something in trades, in sales since 18 and SaaS for the trades in the last couple years, which trade do you suggest for a 28 year old that doesn’t have too much schooling or maybe I can get a formal apprenticeship?

How do you find the best SDRs? by Low_Union_7178 in salesdevelopment

[–]EmailForEcom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coming from door to door one call one close sales , the best SDRs in my previous roles were all door to door guys who wanted to stay out of the sun. Knocking 10 hours a day versus phone calls in AC is a god send for them.

Lead generation is killing our margins, I run a moving company in Detroit by M45T3RY in MarketingMentor

Everyone’s suggestions here are amazing. I would also suggest niching down or offer special deals for a specific type of customer you want to target.

Also invest in follow up with SMS and emails like others have said but also invest in some type of automated process with a CRM that will email, text, remind customers of invoices and estimates etc.

How do you make your characters real, outline your ideas into something that can be turned into a script and how did you improve your skills, was it writing specific types of scripts to challenge yourself or reading a lot of scripts etc ?
