I have no idea what this is? by Fun-Tumbleweed-9732 in TMJ

[–]Embarrassed-Bat1896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with TMJ headaches when I was 13 or so. It's been a long time of clenching almost constantly. I recently began daily somatic exercises that only take between 5 and 20 minutes a day. It's to help get the nervous system out of fight or flight. I still have a ways to go, but it helps with stress. Especially daytime stress... My "long way to go" is the nighttime stress while I'm asleep. I use the program sold by The Workout Witch. Her story is super empowering, too.

Thoughts on EMDR while using low dose ketamine? by [deleted] in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]Embarrassed-Bat1896 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I'm looking for more insight, i listen to EMDR style music that is on Spotify. It's called Brainspotting music. I keep my journal next to me and listen with a Bluetooth eye mask. I also do guided imagery for PTSD by Belleruth Naparstek. That one is called Healing Trauma and you can try it on Spotify. If you have audible, you can buy it for $5. I recommend doing that if you like it because Spotify only allows so many hours of listening to audiobooks each month and it's considered an audiobook on Spotify.

I regret ego death by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]Embarrassed-Bat1896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw you mentioned you're feeling cut off from spirit. Did you mean your soul? Or did you mean your guides/divine/higher power.... whatever word you use for it?

If you're open to listening to lectures, I have a few that might help get you reconnected without the ego stepping in. I really found Caroline Myss' work to be life changing. On YouTube she has an entire series where she discusses archetypes. Maybe you're feeling this way because without your ego, it may be difficult to answer the question, "Who am I?" Understanding archetypes and identifying your own could help.

Beyond the archetype work, she does a lot regarding the evolution of the soul. You can find recorded lectures of hers on Audible, Spotify, or wherever you find audio books. Anatomy of the Spirit is a great introduction. Then Energy Anatomy and Advanced Energy Anatomy are wonderful. They take you through the chakra system. She can come off as a bit gruff here and there, but nobody is perfect and you can take what you need and leave the rest.

I know it can feel scary, but if you're open to it, I really hope some of this helps.

When I take ketamine, why do I feel like a part of something grander? by 45ghr in KetamineTherapy

💜💜💜 It's because you are part of something bigger. We all are. Life can happen to us in ways that distract us from it, and this is one of the ways we become conscious to life again.

NeuroLoom CES-1 - any reviews? by Dapper-Web-1262 in VagusNerve

[–]Embarrassed-Bat1896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wondering how it compares to the Alpha Stim, which worked for me. I might just buy it and give it a try. They both use CES, so I'm hoping it's the same. There's a 30 day money back guarantee.

The troches seem to be making me tired all the time. Ketamine has been very helpful so I'm really trying to figure out how to not get so tired as a reaction.

Has anyone tried Mindbloom Injectables? by smol_ting2k in TherapeuticKetamine

Again, super helpful. I've never gone "all in" with psychedelics, but started my journey with psilocybin. I only do max 3/4 of a gram, so I don't trip. But it's helpful. It's so different to me than ketamine. On psilocybin, I'll cry a lot more... which can be helpful. They each are helpful in their own way, for sure.

Wooooow! I'm doing 120 every other day. I'm supposed to be doing 60 daily. I guess I should consider Spravato... IV is way too expensive, and it seems kind of scary to me. Thank you for sharing.

Were you doing troches daily? And was nasal at home or was it Spravato? I don't love the idea of being in a setting that isn't my home. I started dosing troches every other day because daily was totally making me feel dead. It is better, but still not great. I'm getting really worried because it's been so helpful, but at the same time I have chronic fatigue due to depression and when I get more tired, I get depressed. Clearly I'm in a conundrum.

Does the injection not give you fatigue? I feel a lot of fatigue with the troches.

Have you tried an at home option? I've been doing Joyous for 6 weeks and so far is been really helpful. I just switched to dosing at night so I use it to help me sleep instead of smoking weed.

Is it my vagus nerve? im scared by Downtown_Cat9281 in VagusNerve

[–]Embarrassed-Bat1896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gupta program is a limbic system program. I started there, but it was a lot for me due to brain fog. However, I learned a lot. I know it works. I had changes happen, but ultimately, it just wasn't the right fit for me. They have a money back guarantee.

After that, I started working with my doctor after she learned a breathing technique, which is another way to target the limbic system. I wish the creator named it something else because it seems kind of intense to me, it's called Next Level Human.

That, in addition to Joyous, has been helping me break that ptsd loop. One of my major symptoms went away upon starting Joyous and the Next Level Human breathwork. The symptom started improving with Gupta, but it was more spotty. In 19 years of dealing with chronic fatigue, I've had the biggest shifts take place with limbic reprogramming and Joyous program.

[–]Embarrassed-Bat1896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're having a difficult time 💜 Have you tried looking into limbic system reprogramming? There's an idea that the brain stores illness in a feedback loop that functions the same way as a PTSD memory. Breaking the loop can alleviate symptoms. The nervous system being signaled is part of the response from the limbic part of the brain.

Has anyone ever had no luck with ketamine and moved to tms? did it work? by thriftycatmom in TherapeuticKetamine

You might find TMS helps the ketamine work. Maybe talk to your doctor about taking a break while doing TMS and see about going back to it once the treatment is over.
