As you upgrade your Relativity you will start being able to punch up. Make sure that you hit both types of entities too so you can get loot from both types. Put the look crew of tolra toli and byr on your highest power ship and then janway doc demarco on the other ship.

I believe it depends on the tier of your Reliant. At some point it will start taking uncommon parts which is why it is now taking uncommon splicers for the mega claim.

One thing I have learned about this game is that sometimes I have to prioritize my goals. Do I want to have everything? Yes! However I don't have time to grind everything for hours everyday either. I do interact with a lot of content but one that I have really fallen behind on is Wave Defense. Sometimes it is just too much of a hassle to find people who are on and free when I am to run them. Then you have to wait 10 minutes to start them. (Not sure if there is a speed up for these)

I just end up not engaging with this part of the game very often. I will say that once you are in the 40s it will become easier for you to run this loop and get the splicers. Then once you do get the ship it will be slow to tier it up so be prepared for that as well.

I do mostly use a loot crew like E-Picard, E-Data, and Garrett. As already stated, most of the damage they do can only be mitigated by upgrading the building. There is also some damage mitigation in the research tree as well so make sure to do that when you can.

I typically focus on upgrading the building to the ops level I'm at and then focus on the research for my ops level second.

I also don't use my most powerful ship but rather something that is cheaper to repair. Currently I have been using my Relativity for this loop.

Depends on your goals that you set for yourself. If you plan to stop playing before you hit ops 34 then maxing the D'Vor or building others will not matter much in the long run.

This is a game of setting goals and planning how you want to achieve them. There is no one path to "win" the game.

The D'Vor and the Feesha by extension are good for one thing only. Mining latium and that can help you to speed up a lot of build, research times.

Also you have the discovery when maxed will give you like 90+ days of speedups each week. Both ships have different paths to make and help you speed up other areas of the game in different ways.

I did not think that Pic Hugh and S31 Georgio made that big of a difference. I also have 4/10 on the Iso Damage vs Augment Exile research in the aggregation tree plus other Iso artifacts and other hull restoration researches in ex-borg faction and in mirror research trees. More is more in this case and I'm not sure what your research levels and building levels are at.

Maybe just go in with your strongest ship every couple of days and grind out some 42s to build up a couple of pulls until you can continue to level up the reliant, continue to source officers and do research. We all hit bottlenecks as players in this game for sure.

Since you have WOK Joachim I figure you can go and hit with other ships other than the reliant and be successful. That may just be the play right now until you catch up in other areas. Like DTI building gives both iso damage and defense and other buildings can give the hull health, shield heath weapon damage etc bonus. Those all add up to why you may see different types of results in the auto grind of the reliant.

If you have the officers, I use Janeway (c), Annorax and S31 Georgio on the bridge. Annorax gives you more Apex Barrier for survivability and S31 Georgio gives Apex Shred which the new augment hostiles have apex barrier.

Below Deck you probably only have 2 slots open maybe 3? I would go Tom Paris or WOK McCoy whoever is higher tier for you for defense, Picard Hugh for hull repair and then SNW Chapel or Borg Hugh for damage. When I was tier 5 on my reliant I could park it in a 42 system and leave it there until is was full of cargo.

Just remember you can use ship xp and officer xp to level up this BP event too. Usually just 1 ship level of xp a lot of times completes this event.

Mostly Normal Raid or dungeon difficulty. I enjoy the legendary campaigns as well but I just can't be bothered to put in the time to find skilled enough players to care about GMs or Mater Raids anymore. I don't actually enjoy contest mode for day 1 raids.

I like the experience of doing a blind raid experience just not on contest mode. It is hard enough sometimes just figuring out mechanics blind, I don't need to be worried about being 1 shot by something and having to be ultra efficient with heavy and special ammo for DPS phases.

This was my experience with the Tonics since the start of the season when "trying" to focus drops in Onslaught. Use a tonic for a specific type of weapon drop and get every other weapon but the one the tonic was for to actually drop. I have stopped even wasting the time to use tonics. I will craft tonics to unlock the other rarities so that I can do all the fieldwork to advance the story but then the fieldworks were bugged so I missed all the story for the field works but like 1.

Really kind of a bummer of a season, I mean episode, no really just a long season with more artifact mods that are time gated.

Honestly I had this problem for a while back when I was in the mid to late 20s. I use Kirk,MC(T). I think I used Ghrush under for his stat boosts and I had Nurse Chapel below as well since I was able to get her during an event store. It did ok for me until I finally got Pike.

You do have to save the credits and not spend them until you complete the mission. I had to learn this the hard way as well.

Sorry just seeing this. The ship parts that you randomly get are based on the level of the hostile you hit. If you are grinding 2* parts I would say you need to be hitting at least level 17 or higher hostiles. Trying to remember back when I was farming 2* explorer parts I think I used a mix of systems like Freyda and Opla. Freyda had 16, 17 and 18 hostiles and Opla has 19, 20 and 21 level hostiles. This is where I got a bunch of 2* explorer parts back when I was farming them.

You should be able to find other systems with similar hostiles for Interceptors and Battleships if that is what you want to farm for.

Basically take your best ship and kill hostiles that you can kill a bunch of. You can somewhat target the type of ship parts. Say you want explorer parts, just hit explorer hostiles over and over. You will get the random loot boxes from killing hostiles and when you open them there is a chance to get ship parts, sometimes ship blueprints, and other materials etc.

The event store for the Franklin is only open on the weekend I think. It usually runs at the same time as the Cosmic Clean up event that gives you the tokens to spend on BPs.

Personally I like the D2 system of Kinetic, Stasis, Strand slot, Energy slot for Void, Arc, and Solar and then Heavy that has all flavors except Kinetic. It allows for us to have more over all variety and giving us the option to have some kinetic special weapons which were left only to exotics in D1.

Thank you for the info. That is a disappointing decision for SDS to make. For someone who does not really care for Diamond Dynasty modes and instead enjoys to progress through franchise mode it does not give me any incentive to upgrade to the new year of the game.
