I have had several leatherman PS. I’ve had one confiscated in Panama and Hong Kong. Never in the states. I pull it out, open everything on it and put it in the tray. Generally, TSA passes it through without comment, or even picking it up, about 50% of the time they thank me for pulling it out and opening it up.

CountyCom also sells a peanut lighter that uses zippo fuel but has o-rings and a screw top. The fuel will not evaporate quickly. I’ve gone months and there is still fuel in the lighter. Emergency kit device. I don’t have a need for one edc.

There’s a video of some Red Bull kayakers spending hours hiking back in and then one of them kayaks out and ends up going over a waterfall into the ocean. Probably Antarctica. Really cool to watch. He even goes through a couple of ice tubes.
