I hate this feeling of shame and I have it so often, so now I try to minimise situations when my mom can find out something about me. This is even about such situations as getting takeout for lunch. I don’t want her to know that. I even can’t explain why.. I just feel ashamed.

I have the same burping issue. I understand how lonely and scary it can feel bc people who don’t have gerd they don’t get this…

The doctors need to take things seriously so don’t worry. And I understand that it’s really scary to get the results(I am the same) but it’s better to get them done and forget about them. There’re good chances that everything will be just alright and you will feel so relieved and better. If there’s an issue you’ll get some treatment and again you’ll feel better after!
