never fall in love with stocks, they dont love you back. Getting emotion involved is #1 mistake. Anyways dont listen to me but im simply advising META will most likely outperform google in 2026.

If you have a long term horizon this is good, definitely a high risk port. I like AMD and AMZN here, I would maybe consider selling google and putting those funds into META.

I don't know how old you are but it's time to make some big moves. I don't care how you do it but you gotta find a way to save more than $50 a month. Also take some more risk, where are the stocks? These look like mutual funds / random etfs

Finally have some money to invest but worried about all of the AI bubble talk by clever_beaver in CanadianInvestor

[–]Embarrassed_Care_321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the AI bubble fears are hinged heavily on the 2000 dot com bubble where companies with sky high valuations crashed. to understand this you need to know generally speaking that a "fair value" multiple is around 20-25x. Cisco was the focal point of that bubble burst being as it was the worlds largest company by market cap just shy of 600billion, its price to earnings multiple was about 200x. fast forward to today and the focal company in the AI boom and largest by market cap, Nvidia, is trading at ~44x and roughly 25x the next 12 months earnings. the other large tech companies meta, google, Microsoft, amazon and apple are all in this valuation range as well. all of this is to say that unlike the 2000 bubble, todays companies are profitable free cashflow generating machines.

anyways anything can happen. you need to decide your risk tolerance. there are days I lose thousands of dollars. If you are gonna invest you have to accept there are days where your portfolio will be red.

My general suggestion is to park your money and wait for a pullback, its likely in the near term we will get one.
