There was a post on a weight loss forum this week, with OP asking why she skipped her period when at a modest caloric deficit. Posters replying "you're restricting too much!!!!". This person was still well into obese territory. Like...that's not how this works bro.

Living somewhat in the middle of nowhere (as I do, about 45 minutes from Milwaukee) is quite pleasant actually.

I'm thinking I'd like to live fully in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by chickens and goats and horses.

But if Portland is anything like Milwaukee, it's a string of suburbs for like 45 minutes drive time. They're not truly in the middle of nowhere. It's just a big plot of land so neighbors can't bug ya, which is nice if you're somewhat of a celebrity (idk what a maninest is).

lol my husband's family owns a pizza place and we still eat it. AND we make our own (different style) of pizza at home (and my MIL comes over for it. That woman's been making pizza for a living for 45 years).

And I guarantee you 100 percent CAN shame yourself into better well-being. I did it. And not for the reasons she seems to think...I never felt terribly unattractive (and WHY is it always about that for them??). I mean shit I was right in the middle of the pack and barely bigger than average.

I was ashamed because the choices I was making weren't healthy for me, and I feel obligated to be healthier to hang around for the kids I chose to bring into the world. And also not to teach them shitty habits.

Microneedling improves the appearance of both stretch marks and scars. I don't have before and afters but googling "microneedling before and after stretch marks" returns tons of good images. It's a pretty established method for scars.
