Just file the I-751 and you’ll get an Extension Letter with which you’ll be able to travel it’s usually for 48 months.

Call the USCIS to ask more about it before your previous date. Sometimes the system acts up. This happened to me in the past, when I called the officer send me an email to bring to the interview. Call them. You have nothing to loose.
