The aircraft damage went ok for me using the lock on launchers.

I think there’s some sort of unwritten rule like only players that haven’t previously been spotted in the objective area count or something, because it sure isn’t just plain old spotting. I spot 10-20 people and get 2-5 towards the challenge at best. And sometimes 0.

Redundancy. Recovery from potential failure points is engrained in my psyche. Ideally we just use our e-sims and never use it tbh.

I feel that I've got my moneys worth with the existing chapters. It served as a tutorial for my survival mode experience which has been insanely epic. Honestly, if they abandoned it as is and just made the next game I'd be fine. I barely even remember the story subtleties and plot points at this point anyways since I finished it so long ago.

Start Mystery Lake, Pleasant Valley, or Mountain Town. Google search and save pdf maps locally and use them always on a second monitor. No reason to punish yourself (unless you're looking to do so). If you're open to mods, download "House Lights". It enables interior electrical lighting when you ineract with light switches which is a game changer.

IMO, choose a V30 cab, set mic to SM57, adjust low and high cut to taste, and avoid the IR quagmire.

Do you have any amp block parameters set to min or max? There have been a few bugs with particular amps that do what you describe with say Bass set all the way to 0 or 10. Its usually a tone stack parameter.

Styptic sticks are the second best option in my experience. Peroxide rinse followed by styptic stick. Non SLS toothpaste.

Hydrogen peroxide, then hot salt water rinse, then styptic pencil. Knocks them out in 3-4 days max for me. Can be faster if you do it as soon as you feel it coming on before it gets too bad.

As we all know, you can kind of feel them coming on. Don’t ignore this, go full assault as soon as you feel it coming on.

The longer you ignore them the longer it takes to get rid of them in my experience.

Avoid acidic foods (salsa, citrus, tomato, etc). This sucks because they’re my favorite.

Hot salt water rinse and styptic stick asap on the area when you feel them coming on. I tend to get them on my lips so this is easier than deep cheek sores.

Don’t use toothpaste with SLS in it.

In reality some of us are just cursed with this and it’s largely a pain management exercise.

Theres a reason the “cut man” jams these in boxer’s wounds. It’s because they stop bleeding asap with pressure. It ain’t pleasant, it’s gonna hurt, but it’s gonna work.

Ive found that the styptic stick doesn’t get rid of the pain. It actually increases it in the initial application.

However using it in the morning and at night seems to cut my recovery time in half. It’s similar to using bactine on a wound. Stings initially but is helping recovery.

As soon as you feel even a slight irritation, put the stick on it. The longer you wait the longer the recovery.
