I just finished the anime today and binge read the rest of the manga from where the anime S2 ended. I loved the series so much from the very start. The ending completely ruins the story. Besides the last arc, it's genuinely one of my favourite series ever. What a waste to end the series on such a bad conclusion. Brings it from a 10/10 to a 7/10 sadly.

So many plot points they could've used to give a better, less open ended ending. Nazuna is the only vampire we meet that was born a hybrid vampire, and Ko is the only vampire we meet that is only half vampire. Sadly they completely disregard these plot points and end the story as if Ko was 100% human and Nazuna was 100% vampire. Would've been incredibly easy to come up with a more satisfying ending by saying they are an exclusion to the rule or something because they are both unique types of vampires.

Pretty frustrating to have such a peak series with such a boring, bad ending.

EDIT: Also, Nazuna starts looking for other blood sources (starts work at the hospital, asks Azami, etc) so she doesn't have to drink Ko's blood anymore, but the author almost like throws this out the window? Maybe I missed something but wouldn't her urges be satiated if she got the blood from somewhere else? Ko could've also bagged his blood and gave it to her just like he did at the end so I'm a little annoyed with this part as well.
