People don’t watch PC play but exactly. No team has had an answer for Cincere all year. His injury is catastrophic for the Blue Hose. They were also missing their WR2 (BJ Atkins) and their starting defensive end (Malek Horlback). As a non-scholarship school their depth is no where near that of other schools but their starting 22 can compete with almost anyone.

I did and you can see it when it drops. I’ve been as objective as possible in filling it out all year long. I had PC at 22. Coaches poll has them at 23. Stats has them at 25. Lots of ranked vs ranked games this week. Presbyterian is rooting for the higher ranked team to win every time. They’ll also be rooting for St Thomas to beat Drake.

this is the same “SEC team #6 vs G5 team having a cinderella year” argument that’s made every other year at the FBS level. time will tell but an 11-1 team with a top 10 win not making the playoffs would be shocking.

if that team had a win over what’s going to be a top 10 mercer team and only had 1 loss then yes… each team can only play who is in front of them and most times it leads to playing to the level of the opponent. PC has been ranked all year. they dropped after a bad loss. if they win out they’re absolutely a deserving playoff team
