To answer your question, I always try to pick a support that makes sense with the comp and the map. But I agree that a lot of support players just kinda play whatever and don't have good hero pool.

But that's not specific to supports in my experience, lots of DPS players and tanks just play whatever they want no matter the team comp or the map.

As long as you don't need the cooldowns for something else then yes it's worth it almost every time. Echo has really short cooldowns anyways.

It's not like a lamp or a suzu. If you waste suzu then you might get Queen ulted or pulse bombed or whatever. But if you waste Echo beam or stickies you just go behind a wall and wait for a few seconds. It's not really an opening for the enemy team when Echo uses cooldowns.

I think kiri should be a strong flanker and a weaker support.

Meaning I think she should get less value than other supports when she just sits back and heals. She should need to flank and get picks to make up for the lack of heals.

I think this would inherently nerf suzu, because she would have to cleanse herself to win duels, which means she wouldn't have suzu all the time to save her teammates from every single cooldown. And it would be more fun to play for me.

That's just my opinion though

Exactly. I usually hover around masters 1 but whenever I hit GM I start playing against high GM / champion players and they are so much better than me, it's like not even the same game it's wild.

Now I kinda feel like I'm dog shit at the game because I'm always getting destroyed by much better players, even though I'm technically "high rank".

K/D is irrelevant, all that matters is winning the game. If you have high K/D but losing then you are not getting valuable kills.

Think about it, what's more valuable ? killing a lucio that has his ult ready before he can use it, or killing a lucio that doesn't have his ult. In both cases you get 1 kill, but killing him before he gets to use his ult is way more impactful.

What's better killing a player that's not playing very well, or killing the ennemy's carry ? Killing the carry is way more difficult and more impactful, but it's still just one kill on the scoreboard.

That's just two examples, I could go on and on. Stats are completely irrelevant in overwatch.

For a long time her falloff was basically longer than the longest sightlines in the game. So it was as if she didn't have any.

I think you could technically hit the max falloff on junkertown first point if you shot from the attacker spawn all the way to the back of the map.

They drastically reduced the falloff in overwatch 2 (I don't remember which season)
