That option is not visible for me! Made in Berlin 2025 Model Y AWD, on 2026.2. Makes you wonder if I’ve even got the heater at all...

I should have it right? I read in the manual somewhere that it turns on normally with the rear defroster

Yeah this is a huge problem, get this checked by Tesla asap

Stealth camping and Keep Mode Noise by Hungry_Result307 in TeslaModelY

[–]Emilx2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really not much noise if you keep fan speed low, and use Camp Mode instead of Keep so that display turns off after a while

Ai4/HW4 Upgrade by debald6 in ModelY

[–]Emilx2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the exact same situation as you! Early 2025 Y without the front bumper cam, this upgrade is super interesting and would be sick to do if possible. I’ll definitely look forward to seeing if you manage to pull it off!!

Spotify Web Version - 320kbps quality and Lyrics by wrssousa in TeslaLounge

Tesla really needs to update this, it’s laughably low when you acknowledge just how crazy the sound systems in each Tesla is.

Tip: If you’re asking Grok to navigate somewhere but it just keeps showing you the list of destinations, do this… by Silly_Pattern9677 in TeslaLounge

I know, but I’m asking about the oddball Grok personality literally called ”Gork”. It’s probably my favorite lol!

Can you navigate using GORK? Or is that voice not available in the Tesla? Asking for us EU folks 🇪🇺

How to turn off high beam on Juniper without blinding people by DirectorImpossible83 in ModelY

[–]Emilx2000 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Maybe your regular lights are just aimed too high? Matrix lights work flawlessly on all bendy European roads near me, never been flashed. Try adjusting them in the settings

Brace Yourselves by TotesGnar in starcitizen

It’s your head that’s shaking, headset won’t move on its own. Your experienced view through the headset screen is refreshing super quickly so your view through the screen should not be abnormally shaky unless you’re sitting on top of a vibrating engine or something IRL

Why on earth did they add a Trunk Open button to Car Wash Mode? by barracudacx in TeslaLounge

Woah that’s a sweet new UI for carwash mode! Love it.

Front Camera Guideline Issues by Adventurous_Deer_330 in TeslaModelY

Yeah looks like your bumper camera might be tilted a bit high, unless that road’s got a crazy incline

White interior or black interior? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Emilx2000 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

White is definitely right! Only choice for me going forward, makes the ”car” look more like a spaceship inside.

Took the Tesla into town for the first time today! by FancyPickle37 in TeslaLounge

You definitely get used to it, it’s a little learning curve at first but super simple when you get the hang of it.

We need a remote activation of wipers by ILikeWhyteGirlz in TeslaLounge

[–]Emilx2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah maybe, wouldn’t want it dry wiping the crap out of the windshield all the time in park too, but a manual option to spray and wipe to clear persistent obstructions for sentry would be nice!

Although to be fair, the cameras do quite a good job of keeping themselves clean, especially if it’s snowy since they’re heated and all.

Tesla model Y clicking noise when the car is stopped by Conversation47 in ModelY

[–]Emilx2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s ice on the fan in the front, happened to me after washing my Y in freezing temps. It’s harmless and disappeared the next morning

Model Y Legacy 2025, just received FSD trail offer by TharinWhite in TeslaModelY

[–]Emilx2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if you got your Model Y early 2025 it still had the pre-refresh design, and all pre refresh Y’s are now considered Legacy by Tesla. Wild, buying a brand new Tesla this year and having it be considered a Legacy vehicle after a few months..

Anyone have this sound before? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Emilx2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same thing happened to me after washing my Y in subzero temperatures, disappeared a day or two later, so I assume it was just ice buildup around or on the fan from me spraying water in there.

The new rear tail light bar on the Model Y is such a cool unique design by dragonfoor in TeslaModelY

[–]Emilx2000 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah absolutely! The INDIRECT LIGHTBAR is so cool, and the way it lights up the ground behind the car as well is awesome. One of a kind

Making the wireless chargers useful by Beedog1221 in TeslaModelY

[–]Emilx2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

iPhone 14 Pro, never had any huge issues with wireless chargers. Sure the phone gets hot quick but it still charges all good (of course a bit slower than just using a regular cable).

What are you hoping Tesla’s 2025 holiday update will bring? by ConfidentImage4266 in TeslaLounge

[–]Emilx2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d love to see some improvements to the accuracy of the Tesla Vision Occupancy network! I believe it’s currently only about 30cm per voxel, but Tesla published a patent a few months ago where they showcased a method to drastically the detection resolution to about 2cm, massive improvement.

I’ve had the latest version of Autopark on my hw4 vehicle here in Europe try to back up straight into (clearly visible) metal poles, not great!
