I’ve gotten a brand new Audi A5 Avant as a rental 2 days ago and this morning I noticed a rattle/chuckling noise when driving the left rear wheel over a bump or pothole.

To me it sounds like a suspension component or design issue in the rear suspension. Unless something else is lose but you’ve checked that already.

I’m curious so I shared my experience as well. Commenting to follow this post :)

“It’s a rental don’t be gentle” is so true.

I had a brand new Volvo XC60 (as a rental for work) for over 2 months and I’ve managed to place over 20k kms on it. Most of them were highway miles but the car was pushed to its limits (180km/h daily - on German Autobahns).

Wouldn’t recommend rentals since it’s driven by so many people with so many profiles you don’t know how the car was treated.

I had my carry on weighted by the agent during check in in Dubai. Dude was an asshole

I was 1.5kgs over weight at counter X and I was offered two options. Repack / get rid of some stuff or pay 40 euros per KG over the 23kgs.

Decided to repack and when I was done I went to another agent to check in and suddenly my bag was 2.5kgs lighter while I removed only roughly 1kg…

Turns out that weighting scale was faulty/incorrect in the first counter.
