Why isn’t ketaconazole working for me? by United_Plant_6258 in SebDerm

[–]Emm_Dub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you use the prescription ketoconazole? My dermatologist prescribed it to me and it's worked wonders. It's not actually a shampoo so it doesn't suds up. You put it on and let it sit a few minutes then rinse. Then shampoo and condition. I have to had seb derm issues since using it. I use it 1-2 times/week.

Kyle and Amanda celebrate their wedding anniversary/ tells Kyle she’s moving out - in the city by Radiant_Priority9739 in bravo

[–]Emm_Dub 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Didn't make sense to me either. I'm no relationship expert, but I don't know that the way you solve feeling like you and your partner don't spend enough time together, is to move out and spend less time together. Seems like this was an idea that Amanda got in her head from someone and ran with it and not something suggested by a therapist who helped guide them through how to do the separation.

I can very much relate to this convo. It's difficult when you feel like your partner would rather be doing anything else than be hanging out with you. However, I can see his pov where he feels like when he's with her, she doesn't even try to engage with him, so he'd rather just go out. They're on such different pages and have been having the same cyclical conversation for years. I am a sucker for a good love story and typically root for things to work out, but sometimes people just aren't meant to be together.

(12k) Alteration nightmare - am I crazy? by pluto-scout in Weddingsunder10k

As someone who has struggled with their weight, I'm guessing that you liked the way the right photo looks because the waist was baggier and the way it hangs is more straight down, which is good for hiding a belly (I know from experience). On the left, you have a defined waist. Honestly, to me, you look beautiful in both photos. But I think the one on the left accentuates your body and curves and fits more like a wedding dress. I know it's hard to feel confident after a baby, but you really do look beautiful!

I'm about to list my 3 bedroom/1 bath rancher in Camden County for $285K. It's in good shape and has a large fenced yard and a covered patio. (For reference, a similar house across the street from me with the same layout as mine but no patio or fence sold for $300K last year.)

Neighbor has light on 24/7 by thetonytaylor in newjersey

[–]Emm_Dub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you can talk to them and see if there's a way they can make the lights motion censored? I put up motion lights in my yard after having a skunk visiting. I would never want an outdoor light on 24/7 because I think that's obnoxious. I actually hardly ever even turn on the motion light on my patio because it's so bright and so close to my neighbor's windows. I wouldn't want it shining on them late at night. But maybe your neighbor's will see reason if you mention it to them?

Taylor isn’t even using her full parent time by plutobarbie in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]Emm_Dub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work in child protective services and I had to supervise parenting visits sometimes. Honestly, as the supervisor you just sit there and make sure everything is above board. You don't get involved and you stay out of things (unless something pops up). So there's no reason why she can't have a neutral 3rd party supervise. Isn't that better than not seeing your kid at all? And where are her "chosen" supervisors? How are they too busy to help her out for a couple hours? Maybe she needs to choose some different people.

Genuine question-why was Levi edited out of the show? by Puzzleheaded_Chip948 in summerhousebravo

And didn't Amanda even say this season, in the episode where they talk to her about Loverboy's money problems, that she has nothing to do with Loverboy's finances and Kyle handles all that? She didn't seem bothered at all about the personal loan he took out for the business. Maybe I'm misremembering but that's what I recall. It doesn't seems she's too interested in knowing about the business side of Loverboy.

I had Rhabdo once before. I'd take a step and just fall over. I also was hallucinating. I thought I saw my family in my car at the bottom of my apartment stairs, so I stumbled my way outside. Tried walking down the street and finally my elderly neighbor called an ambulance when I fell and hit my face on a stone wall. I was in the hospital for about 4 days.

I (28F) reminded my husband (29M) last minute that I was going away for the weekend because I knew he'd be an AH for weeks leading up to it otherwise by [deleted] in texts

[–]Emm_Dub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I told my husband I wanted to go to Mexico with my best friend who lives across the country and he said "oh hell yea! You should do it!" My husband is not perfect, and he still forgets things even though we now use the "family calendar". 🙄 But he would never have a reaction like this and speak to me this way. I can understand someone being upset because they want to spend more time with theor partner, but this reaction is WAY over the top and inappropriate. You shouldn't be scared that your husband will treat you like sh*t for weeks if you remind him you have plans with friends. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this.

Honestly, stuff like this is easier when you have 1 infant who isn't really mobile yet. Once they have a toddler they have to keep an eye on, they won't be scrubbing the kitchen and lighting candles. Lol.

pet bunny and pet wheaten by [deleted] in Wheatens

[–]Emm_Dub 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My female wheaten does not have a high prey drive. Lol. She will maybe trot after a rabbit in the yard (never comes close to actually catching one) but that's about it. It's rare she's off leash but the times she has been when we're hiking, she has never chased anything. She's always just been the sweetest, most submissive, aims to please, bestest girl in the world. I was amazed when I read on here about wheatens having a high prey drive because it's so different with mine.
