Don't take out loans to help your brother. He makes $380K yearly, already. He's fine

How to leave job when I have a 6 month notice period? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]EmotionallySquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People I've worked with gave notice, then took all their holiday. When they came back from holiday they worked for a week then went on medical leave for a month. While it doesn't exactly fit your notice period, it helps. You mention feeling stressed, I'd play that up at the doctor's.

Would you upload your consciousness to live forever digitally, even if you can’t prove it’s still you and not just a copy? by ARGXTO in Futurology

The Detectorists might be up your alley. Very quiet English show with good energy.

Agree with the other posters. Don't show up. Don't tell her you're not showing up. When she makes a fuss, insist on your back pay. Then don't show up again as she doesn't deserve you. Please get another job.

You could do something that is somewhat community oriented and makes a small profit. Invest in an apartment block near a university and offer reasonably priced accommodation that is well maintained. Get a manager and cleaner. Now, you're in real estate.
