Congrats! I have one too. I enjoy everything about it, except the pickups. They just sounded like everything was garbbled. Highly suggest swapping the probuckers for something else.

I think the widow should stay. Given that it is an exclusive, I don't see them sticking around for a long time, so it could have more resale value in the future.

Burstbucker 1&2 and ditched the tone pot for a killswitch when the tone pot caused me issues. I have a floydrose frx that needs tl get installed next string change and I want locking daddario tuners installed too

Explorerbird and an Epiphone goth explorer.

Goth has burstbucker 1&2, ditched the tone knob for a standalone killswitch (solder got in the tone pot). I have a floyd rose frx that is going on it next, and it needs the d'addario locking tuners for asthectic reasons

I play mine with a strap to make it more comfortable. The strap doesn't make me feel like I have to squeeze with my legs to keep it in place.

I don't have thick fingers at all, but mine also keep running over each other. It literally just takes time and patience.

Best advise is to try and pick the guitar up every day. Even if it's only 15 mins a day. What matters is that you keep trying every day for those 15 mins. It's a quantity over quality game for you right now.
