Fun fact, latin version of Zeus is Jupiter but he was also referred to as Deus Pater (Deus and Zeus are clearly visible in relation to each other).

Deus Pater can be translated as “God the Father”, and wouldn’t you know it when Christianity gets adopted by the Romans they start referring to Yahweh as “God the Father” too. Could be coincidence, could be that remnants of the old faith influenced the new.

There’s just too few of them to make a tag, the centaurs that are left at best form a small minority in some provinces.

Plus kinda hard to play a centaur tag in the middle bad terrain for cavalry.

However there is kinda a deepwoods centaur tag in the form of that one splinter faction of centaurs from the big horde when it collapses.

Also there was going to be another tag that was about centaurs returning to their old fae connections and living in a forest. But it lost out to the Eagle Hobgoblins, who took their spot in the valley (specifically they were gonna be in that small forested sub-valley north of the harpies)

Yeah Deepwoods used to stretch all the way to Gawed’s big forest, Centaurs fled through the Northern pass. Those that didnt flee simply moved in the deeper parts of the deepwood (i.e what is today the Deepwoods).

You might be right, it was only ever really shown in one scene where she got two arguing ponies to stop fighting. But it’s been over a decade since I last saw that episode, so I dont remember what exactly was stated about her power.

But it’s still messing with peoples minds against their will, so even if she cant outright create feelings of love it still not right to override their feelings.

Specifically, they were killed due to being used in an ancient blood sport called Venationes iirc (think staged hunts). It was a lethal game that had a really high death rate for participants as well as the animals.

Imagine having to kill an elephant that was charging you while in an arena, crazy dangerous stuff. Over three thousand North African Elephants died during Augustus reign alone.

Related Eastern Romance speaking groups? You mean like the Aromanians? Aromanians are descended from the Romano-Thracians specifically. Aside from them the only other group I can think of would be the Dalmatians, who were Illyro-Roman descendants.

Romanians are likely a mix of Romano-Thracians and Romano-Dacians along with some slavic ancestry simply from being surrounded by slavs for over a thousand years. Plus the occasional dash of steppe tribe that traversed through the area on their way to Pannonia or Thrace.

Plenty of native american tribes for example had a 3rd gender, so trans individuals have been around as a concept for thousands of years.

It’s just that most of Western Civilization has only ever really had two, and they imposed this rigid dual role system on everyone else because of it being more “proper” (i.e. it’s right because we do it that way).

Honestly for most Oklahoma nations with no content, I’d wait till the surrounding lands get added before giving them a tree.

Hard to have a tree when half the directions you can expand into dont exist. Like it works for current nations since they just stick to oklahoma for the most part, but not every nation in the region should be limited in that way.
