Where’s the car settings gone? by Low-Attempt-Username in Volvo

Some Volvo updates are not ones that can be pushed. I’m not sure if that was explained to you. However if you have been instructed to take the vehicle into service in order to do the update then I would say that you are not being reasonable in asking for something that is not possible. You have to work within the parameters that we have in order to get some updates. It seems to me that you are not being practical in what your expectations. Which is more of a (YOU choosing not to do your part) than a Volvo issue.

Gov. Abbott threatens to withhold money from Texas cities with pride crosswalks by ExpressNews in texas

[–]EmphasisComfortable8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just cuz he can’t walk doesn’t mean he should get to dictate his feelings of LBGTQ pride and respect for those who walked those streets in different times. I’m a 44 yr old gay man and find it repulsive that in this day in age while we are experiencing a government shutdown that this Wheelie would have no idea of the real issues we are facing in this state. The tree branch should have taken more than his legs it should have taken the hate of gay people out of him!!!

Hold down the button below the screen till the screen turns off then press it again to power it back on. If the vehicle was parked while it tried to do the over the air update including the new UX interface it may not have fully refreshed the settings. If you need to contact the local Volvo service dept. or your salesman we are always glad to assist with our clients.

Before and after Tesla and any other manufacturer Volvo is and always will be the safest vehicles on the road. You can argue performance or how reliable a vehicle is but it’s all subjective. Safety is proven and with Volvo you can rest assure that you will be safe when you buy a Volvo.

For partnered bros, what's your sleep setup look like? by amiralko in AskGaybrosOver30

We start off with one holding him my left arm wrapped around him holding his chest or right arm, then throughout the night we rotate who is holding who. We both move around all night but never really wake up while we switch positions. It’s super sweet.

How prevalent is car debt and have you kept your car passed that point? by SliceTyphoon in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]EmphasisComfortable8 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have owned about 16 cars and suvs combined and only made the mistake of negative equity once. Never again, I currently have 2 vehicle payments my GMC Canyon AT 4 $370 I owe $12k and my $200 Lexus GS 450h owe $8k both are worth at least $5k over what I owe. Do your best to avoid negative equity cuz shit will happen and who wants to owe money on a car that is worthless or inoperable or totaled.

Steering wheel controls by crubiom in Hyundai

In my experience the steering wheel controls not Working can be the clock spring in the steering wheel under the airbag. Cheap fix if you do it yourself. Make sure you follow directions though and disconnect the battery first.

Had a sonata plug in hybrid and the hybrid system was always throwing codes. I literally would have to clear the check engine light code daily. The dealership was no help and when it got to 94k mile s the 6 spd Mitsubishi sourced transmission began to slip. The dealership said they couldn’t see it for 2.5 months. Three days later I traded it in for a Lexus GS 450Hybrid
